I recorded from a replay; haven't tried to record live. I use FRAPS and some other crazy something or other I learned from the internet like almost a year ago to do the compression (vdub + a codec). I started making the videos for a mutual friend of my dad and I while he was sick in the hospital.

Trust me, after running my gulag there for three months, I am good. I looked at the christmas party photo and I honestly look like I belong in the 60s band with that horrendous mop I developed because I didn't have time to get a haircut.

btw, right after the F1 race I joined an Indycar race at Watkins Glen* and promptly stuffed that one too. no spectacular flip, though.

*I'm running the Indycar Fixed oval and road series; great stuff. iracing in an Indycar on a short oval is amazing fun.

Yeah, they figured out how to crumple a hood and dangle a broken wing, but blowing an F1 car into a billion bits of carbon fiber on a wreck like that is a whole 'nother thing altogether! Looks like a wreck from the early days of racing where the cars held together and the drivers didn't.
