As of today, the longshoreman are on strike at east coast and gulf ports - they walked off the job and effectively the ports are closed to moving any goods. For every day they are on strike it creates 3-4 days of backlog once the strike is lifted. It is unlikely our Porsches are being delivered even after the EPA clears the 2025s. My Cayenne has been sitting in the Houston port are for at least 2 weeks now. I knew the EPA crap was the hang up but now this . . . . . . it always seems to be interesting.

Ah, crap it includes Houston? Mines been sitting there for a while too, do we also need to stock up on TP?

during covid i read CIA advises its operators maintain a 3 month supply at all times, ideally 6 months. so ever since then i keep one unopened bulk costco TP and one open. the moment i hear about an issue i go to 3 unopened one opened. So i plan to buy 2 more huge TPs this week. given the Iran middle launch jazz this morning i would say stock up before common man does. which too me means before Saturday.
Mine just arrived. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome
How durable is the racetech seat fabric, steering wheel and armrest? I really like full leather personally but those seats look nice. My wife had Alcantara seat inserts in her Audi and they didn’t wear well. Working on a spec for a coupe with the bordeaux red leather may change my mind. Any feedback appreciated.

I have it in my Taycan. 30K miles on it and it's held up pretty good (but I do care for it well). I don't know how it would play out in a family hauler (so I got full leather in our Cayenne build)

I beleive your going to want to hit it w a suede brush every three weeks or so and you aren’t going to want any lotion wearers involved - which rules out most females. I have a race tex steering wheel. i love it. but it is high maintenance imo and i have dry hands and wash my hands before i get into my car every time. still if i don’t hit it w suede brush every 3 weeks or say 500 miles, it starts to not be quite as fuzzy.

do you do anything beside a suede brush? Even with dry hands and no lotion we all still have some level of oil on our hands. Do you clean it every so often with something and if so what product? Off topic but I have a 3rs on order and I have never lived with racetek on the steering and have the same concerns.

thanks! That is the type of real world feedback I was looking for.

i haven’t had to clean it, but it has only been around since January. it could probably use cleaning at this point. i see white fine dust is living in the seams around the red 12 o’clock marker. probably skin cells from my dry hands.
