I’ve always wanted a Valentine One but am worried that a radar detector detector would get me in big trouble in my state

I’ve been using Uniden in 3 of my cars and have been very happy with the brand. The latest model I have is the R7 but I think their newest model is the R8. JMHO, they all do basically the same thing. Here in CA, CHP mostly uses Ka band but other agencies use laser. Unless you have a laser jammer ($$$$), laser detectors are pretty worthless.

I've been using Escort, works fine for my needs. 360 Max or something like that, has the arrows (front/back/sides). I just leave it on the Highway setting all the time so I don't forget to switch it when driving out of town, it pings around town more but i've learned to tune it out and for the most part the GPS feature auto mutes most things on my regular commute. I could in reality turn it off around town as I'm usually within 10 of the limits everywhere but it's always a good reminder to check when the Ka band pings

My ship sits at a Texas port - it came in about a week ago with my GTS, which is eventually headed to Porsche Austin. We shall see just how long it sits.

I’ve had an MY25 Cayenne Coupe GTS in the UK now for a couple of weeks and absolutely love it - think you’re all in for a real treat. Can’t believe how well it sounds - it’s a step up in every department from our MY19 Cayenne Coupe Turbo that it replaced. Dynamically it is so much better - it’s on the 21” rims and has no PDCC, and it rides so much better over rough surfaces than the Turbo did with 22” rims and PDCC - the GTS is a fair bit lighter, I believe and the suspension is probably a step up too. But the sound is just fanatic too - almost sounds like a big block NA V8

My GTS has been at the local port for two weeks now. It's so painful to wait knowing its ready to be delivered but the EPA is holding it up, the only good thing is my dealer is only 20 minutes from my the port. I'm trying to block it out since I have a feeling its going to be at least a month before it is delivered but a post like the one above about how good it is just makes the wait worse.

What is it that we have to wait for the EPA to do here. How hard is it for them to assign their tree hugger seal of approval.

Very good color for a Cayenne Coupe, great choice. Enjoy the new ride!
