It's disappointing the deliveries are getting delayed, without derailing the conversation it's the right move for VAG, they just need to make mea culpa's to affected customers.

minor probability the dealer might try shenanigans on trade in value update, which could cause a problem, but hoping that won't be the case
I'm hoping PPF'ing next week while I'm on the beach

my latest emIl…..
We are writing to keep you updated on the status of your Porsche Cayenne as we seek to ensure it arrives at your Porsche Center as soon as possible. At issue is an electronic component which is a part of a larger control unit that needs to be replaced. In the past week you may have seen headlines in the press related to this topic. Some of the information is accurate and some is not. For example, vehicles were not “impounded,” “blocked,” or “detained” as reported by some media. Rather, we promptly took action to hold affected vehicles at port and notified authorities as soon as we learned of an issue affecting one of our suppliers.
Turning now to the status of your vehicle, the first cars held at ports will be delivered to Porsche Centers this week as the supply of replacement parts steadily grows. For the latest information on the arrival date for your specific vehicle, we ask you to stay in contact with your Porsche Center. Please know that expediting your Porsche for delivery is our top priority.
Let us once again reiterate how much we appreciate your patience and understanding as we resolve this issue in the coming weeks.
With kind regards,
Porsche Cars North America

Sorry I didn't get this out to you all yesterday - was dealing with grandkids and I'm old, so I got behind...
Picked My Cayenne up on Tuesday with Fix.
It's Glorious.![thumbsup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigok.gif)
I was so wrapped up in everything I forgot to ask what the part was - I don't imagine it was too difficult. I'll/We'll eventually find out what the part was.
They told me at the dealership that I was the first release Cayenne since this began.
To all of you still waiting, the day is close.
The wait was painful, but worth it.
With all that transpired, they actually beat my first estimated date (before lockdown) of March 3rd - so that's actually remarkable.

Me too but didn't get my allocation until Nov after my initial deposit last summer. Also TYD shows 28 Jun at the dealer with about 2 mo in transit to port and then do dealer stateside.

I'm interested in ordering the same model. Trying to find information about the EPA battery rating for the US cars. My wife's RAV4 Prime is rated at 42 miles, but consistently gets 50 miles on the battery. That's enough for our local use, but wouldn't want any less.
Would love to hear how you like it, once you have it.
