I went back and forth between the Urus and the TGT in 2022 and again in 23/24 with the new facelifts of both. For me the looks, fit and finish was better as the TGT felt like the interior of my 992 TTS and Taycan Turbo S and after I saw one at local cars and coffee I decided to go a different route. Im not sure it’s worth 100K but the Urus does have that special feel of an exotic and looks and sounds better IMO. Ultimately I traded the Urus for the S while my performante is being built (May/June 24 delivery Im told). I have little interest in the hybrid and anticipate it will be a problematic variant for at least 1-2 years while they work out the kinks (Ferrari and many OEM have had the same issues) although I suppose VW group has been doing hybrids for a while. Ive heard the Cayenne hybrids have had some issues but can’t say for sure. Regarding tires I agree put winters on. I bought 22 OEM wheels and winter rubber that I use from November to March and I take this beast up skiing all the time. Its epic…

I dont understand how anyone can trade in a Turbo S for a cayenne GT. Cars are 1500 lbs apart and have same power. And cayenne comes with that abysmal transmission that feels too much like an SUV for it to play a sports car role. It does 11 second 1/4 mile with a 13 mph trap speed difference. They are not even close. I think cayenne’s acceleration is on par with a GT3 in a straight line. If you are letting go of a TTS and not missing it, you probably werent driving it hard enough.

I do have a cayenne gts and I would get the tgt if it came with a tow hitch in SUV form.

it snows maybe 1 a year where I live but temps do get down to 17-20F. The turbo GT mostly used for transporting family or for bad weather so I’m not trying to do any time attack records with it. That’s my reasoning for just throwing all season tires on it and forget about it. I have my 2 other fun cars with summer tires that I drive to work most days

Hi everyone! Wondering which mode to drive in in snow conditions. Is Normal, raised a good default or ? Thanks for your input!

Traction off…sport plus…find a parking lot and enjoy what you paid for 😉

any significant snow and you could raise the suspension but I would think normal would provide plenty of clearance.

Here’s a few threads discussing modes for snow. The overarching theme though, is tires matter. A set of 3-peak mountain snowflake tires (in any drive mode) will provide better handling than all-season M+S. Certainly better than the factory Corsa tires!😀

Can anyone tell me the recommended tire pressures on the 24 TGT? I just installed those tires on my 22 and I think they are overinflated. I remember a video said the 24s use a lower pressure

thanks!

Excerpt from the 2024 Manufacturers Certificate of Approved Wheels and Tires. Full document attached.

Here’s the inflation chart for the 2024 TGT with the 9Y0.1 pressures added in red for comparison. Most pressures are indeed lower for the ‘24, especially the comfort pressures. But the 22” part and full load front tires on the ‘24 are actually higher than the 9Y0.1.

Me and my wife snagged a allocation for a tgt we went and put the deposit down and built it at the dealer. Should be delivered in June or July we are very excited but I feel crazy as it's the most expensive car we have ever purchased. Before this we had a Nissan gtr and a macan gts. Excited to be part of the club

I am in the same boat. My build locks 1-2nd week of April and won't be done till the end of June/early July. Currently have an M5c and Alpina xb7. From everything I have read/watched July cannot come soon enough. Congrats on the TGT

Weather hit 70 in the Midwest this last weekend so I took the opportunity to finally take out the turbo GT on a 250 mile drive with some proper driving. It’s a f***ing phenomenal drive and fun when pushing. Picked it up in September and liking it much more than on delivery day. Interior quality still sucks but don’t care as much anymore.

Curious to hear 2024 TGT owners opinions, I just put p zeros in your size on my 2022 TGT and the amount of tire roll you feel now is noticeably different than the lower profile I had on before. that said, mine were Corsas and I'm sure its stiffer but its really really noticeable. Anyone come up from a 2022 and notice a difference?

Gorgeous. I am debating between Urus and the Turbo GT as well. I had an RSQ8 when it first came out, so not sure Urus makes sense in that aspect, but it is soooo nice inside. Tough decision. You happy with your Urus still?
