I had a 2017 Macan Turbo and moved to a '22 TGT. Waaay different vehicle, much more powerful and better handling. It's a different feel-bigger, heavier, but it is also much rawer if you want it to be. I always wanted more from my Macan-not so from the TGT !

Is the suspension adjustable? I will be using it in rough roads and prefer the normal (softer) setting in the Macan in things like cobble stone or bad roads.
just get the right tires, the cup tires that come stock are hard. Once I moved to street tires it got a lot better

Not sure if this has been mentioned...but I was watching the Netflix series Full Swing and noticed Tom Kim has a nice white CGT

Have people read the Urus SE release? Very disappointing as its just a Turbo S e-hybrid with GT package (or whatever they are calling it). Massive weight penalty, softer styling, and comes with barely noticeable interior changes.

Safe to say the TGT will remain the driver's SUV of choice for the next 2-3 years.

Makes me glad I ordered just a 2024 Cayenne Turbo E Hybrid then.

Default Allocation

Finally got an allocation for a fall build. Excited to get one. Turning in my 992 TTS. What do you all think?

I just picked up my Turbo GT today, I also replaced my 2024 992 Turbo S. Loved the 992 but this Cayenne makes much more sense for me. Best of luck.

Looks nice - I also selected the gloss black rims for my TGT, and they look really good, but wow do they chip and scratch easily. I have two sets of the gloss rims (one set winter, one set summer) and I was surprised how chipped up the winters were when I swapped them to summers - but in my city they use gravel for winter (not sand) and it chips everything (my 5 month old windshield is full of rock chips already), but thought the summer set would be fine. Washing the car on the weekend and found a bunch of new chips on the summer wheels that have been on for one month. Chips right through to the aluminum. Maybe it's just where I live (poorly cleaned roads).

I'm not sure if the wheels are painted or powder-coated. My previous Cayenne Turbo's wheels were in almost new condition after ten years on the same roads. YMMV.

But they do look darn good. I prefer shiny wheels over matte finish.

Matte black wheels here and not a single flaw so far in ~9 months with the car. I know its all personal, but they set off the PCCBs much better to my eye.

Congrats on the allocation! You will fall in love with the TGT!

I was debating between the black and satin deep blue but ended up going with the blue. Here's my build: http://www.porsche-code.com/PRDY5JF4 It's on the Lake Taupo and should be at Jacksonville in 6 days and then to my dealer in Melbourne hopefully not long after.

That’s a fantastic build. I love the algarve blue. I’ve always been fond of the satin blue wheels. I went for matte black as I didn’t think the blue worked with Artic gray. I also have Bordeaux seat belts and they look incredible. Enjoy in good health.

What I did! So thankful that I made that decision.

And, regarding the ride, I just switched back to my delivery tires (Corsas) from my winter tires. Big ride difference! Winter tires provide a less noisy and softer ride.

I had hoped that TechArt would release their tune in the USA, but they refuse to ship it here. Adding exhaust components/downpipes will open up the sound without a noticeable horsepower gain, until the ECU can be unlocked. COBB will write a tune if they have enough interest and a car to test. We need to join forces to give them an incentive to prioritize the project!
The shop that installed my APR tune on my 22 Cayenne Turbo told me that they have an APR tune for my 24 Turbo GT (picked it up today). I was not aware that this car has a hard break-in where you can't use sport or sport plus for some period of miles (and I have no clue how many and can't find it in the online manual). Guess I will wait a bit before getting the tune. BTW - does anyone know how long before you can select sport mode?

They are not even close. I think cayenne’s acceleration is on par with a GT3 in a straight line. If you are letting go of a TTS and not missing it, you probably werent driving it hard enough.

I do have a cayenne gts and I would get the tgt if it came with a tow hitch in SUV form.
I traded my 2015 911 Turbo for a 2016 Cayenne Turbo S because the 911 bored me silly and I decided I would rather have a fast and versatile every day truck than a 911 and a jeep. Today I have a 24 Turbo S with some goodies, plus a 22 Cayenne Turbo, plus a 24 Cayenne Turbo GT. Wouldn't trade my 911 Turbo S in for anything, It is such an amazing car. But I can understand why others might - it may make more sense for them.
