40 PSI cold front and rear

 

35 all around on my winters and 40 for the summers

 

Mine came with Michelin Pilot Alpine 5 snows at 32 PSI.

 

There are a few tire settings in the systems setting depending on wheel and tire combo. Once you select the one you are running then you can see the the psi difference on the left side of the Speedo screen to know the psi recommend vs. current.

 

Are those 285/45 and 315/40 21 inch? Or 285/40 and 315/35?

 

The car is in the shop for a bit for upgrades but from a photo I can confirm the rear tires are 305 35 R21. (These are the winter wheels.). Can’t see the fronts clearly enough but can report back for sure when I get the car back.

That said, I believe the fronts are 275 40 R21.

(The winter wheels are 2023 model RS Spyders. You can see the design differences as compared to the ‘24s if you look closely.)

 

Can you guys share what your previous or other vehicles you had/have? How does the GT compare? I'm in my second 911 and had a panamera turbo s e-hybrid before this. I am constantly battling between comfort and excitement. I have a '24 F250 that I also drive as a daily. Just looking for something that really is exciting to drive (even at 40mph) and yet, can haul around kids and stuff. Thanks!!

 

Just got my 2024 TGT which is my first Cayenne. When I drive in Sport mode the TGT reminds me a lot of my previous 911 4s. The vehicle is nimble for its size/weight and steering is very direct and tight. The TGT is a lot easier to get in and out of versus the 911. The fact it has only 4 seats may make it a non starter for you.

 

The TGT is an amazing solution to some situations. I live in a very dense, highly populated downtown area where driving roads take ~1.5 hours with traffic to even get started (it sucks I know). I say this preamble to set up just how amazing the TGT is as a one car solution for a lot of scenarios you'll find yourself in. I take my dog to parks, groceries with the finance, and daily commuting to work in bumper-to-bumper traffic. For these tasks as a daily, its amazing. Constant rumble and power when needed in normal mode. It truly does turn up quite substantially in sport or sport+ with aggressive down shifts and has all the fizz - just need to drive one to see what I'm talking about and what all the rage on the reviews come from. In the few times I had a chance to absolutely let it rip, its absolutely crazy for what it is at its core. For public roads, its faster than your 911 that isn't a true GT product. Torque is much higher so get more fun and greater feeling of physics at play (also throwing the weight around is a new fun - at least that is what I tell myself). As a one car solutions it doesn't get better. For this route as a one car owner, I've had a SVR and a Urus Performante. Gave up my Urus at delivery to keep the TGT - I love it that much. Urus was way more presence and a special ownership feeling from the start but just too obnoxious for my personal taste. The interior of the Urus is probably 2-3x better than the TGT with way higher quality materials so that is where your money goes. It was $110k more spec for spec than my 2024 TGT ($223k sticker) as a data point in the huge jump between the two for the same powertrain. Performance and driving, they are identical (at least to me as a non-track driver), except the UP is way louder stock (like WAYYY louder). Disappointed in full throttle on the TGT but downpipes fixes it.

Separately, if you have the space and resources, then I would stick with a cheaper daily (as you already have). The extra 10-25%+ performance and raw feeling in a proper GT car or any sports car is still better ultimately when you have the time and chance. Before moving to the city, I had a 720s and a Huracan and drive my buddies 812 often who lives in my building (good god is that car!). You just cannot replace that feeling no matter how good these exotic SUVs are getting. My very long two cents and experience for when a TGT makes sense (just my sole opinion).

 

Also I took a nail in my front right and came back from the dealership with new rubber this evening, they placed a non-corsa tire on one of the rims. Didn’t catch it until I got home when I checked the tires out of curiosity. Reminder to always double check, even at a Porsche service center. Truly amazing lol.

I traded in a '21 TurboS and a '23 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit for the TGT. I am so happy with this car: I enjoy it just as much as the TurboS, 911s and the several GT cars that I have owned. It is a fabulous combination of sports car and utility.

 

I have a ‘23 F150 that I daily and the ‘24 TGT for fun. My wife has a ‘23 AMG GLE63s that is still pretty fun but no where near the TGT.

It’s a good setup for us - the truck for me on normal days and for family trips. TGT when the weather is nice and it’s not all 5 of us.

 

actually the specs you have for 2023 are for 2024. The 2023 has aspect ratios of 35 and 30, all 22 inch. 285/40/22 front, 315/35/22 rear on 2024 TGT. 2023 has 5 less on aspect ratios

My 24 TGT feels as nimble and fun as my 2950lb 4.5L GT4 with shorter gears. I have 10,000 miles on the TGT and it still amazes me how it defies physics every time I drive it
