All Hybrid Builds have been Delayed until at least January

If I remember correctly, the production start date is not assembly line production. It begins with inputing the vehicle into the factory production schedule. This is followed by various intervals where nothing happens and scheduling of components for the actual assembly line process that takes about a day or so. The QC process, waiting on a full ship and numerous other unforseen circumstances can move dates around. It's frustrating but there are a lot of moving parts to the process.

Not sure if it’s true or just a way to keep the customer engaged, but my SA informed me that the CARB block has been lifted and the car is being prepared at the port for shipping to the dealership. Porsche’s dealerships have some internal forums for discussions. Honestly, I don’t believe this, and the CARB website has no updates on the Executive Order.

CA CARB embargo lifted at long last
Salesman just informed me we can finally pick up our turbo e-hybrid later this week.
It’s been sitting at the port in Benicia since late May.
Fingers crossed they can roll it off the transport truck without damage🤞

That would be a nice change if it's for all vehicles. My 2023 CGTS had very minimal protection.

Congrats - what color is that? Algarve Blue?
I'd love to hear your impressions after you get it. I have the base e-Hybrid - had it a week. Its great - but wonder if i should consider a Turbo at some point in the future..

Congrats to you guys...finally getting your cars. Turbo E hybrid owners rejoice. CARB sucks...they should bow and move aside to EPA's clearance. Once EPA says its a go..then CARB should stand down and clear the cars...this delay of 2 mos has been stupid..especially when other e-hybrid owners such as myself got our cars earlier. Me 29 May 2024...so what was the 60 days all about for the same dayum engine albeit with a bit more power is beyond me what CARB was looking for.
Enjoy your cars gents/ladies.
