Good lord i'm glad I took delivery of my '23 last February. Would have cost nearly 18 months. Sheesh.
This is pretty bad on Porsche's part.

Thanks for the updated schedule. Hoping mines on that vessel as well. Been sitting at EMDEN for ten days or so now. My TYD says delivery to Porsche dealer in Toronto anywhere from April 16 to May 26.

Yeah, not taking my allocation as one of my other ordered vehicles came in. I know that some of the wait isn't entirely Porsche's fault (the third party slave labor chip issue) but they had issues on the initial run of 9Y0 E Hybrids in 2020 also. They sat at ports anywhere from 4-8 months, lots of cancelled orders.

I guess if you need a car fast - this e-hybrid isn't for you. I ordered last year in May and I'm guessing it will get to me at end of June . For me, its OK as I have a LR defender which I actually really like. So I will end up with one too many cars as we have a Volvo XC90 (plug-in) at our second home - that largely sits a lot. So something needs to go.
I am assuming that porsche anticipated a lot of cancelled orders given the 6 month delay. I'm guessing that once EPA does their thing, they will start flowing in a more normal fashion?

After leaving Jacksonville, the ship did not go to Houston as scheduled. The various ship tracking sites say the ship is going to Tuxpan Port in Mexico which is not near Veracruz. The tracking sites indicated it was originally to arrive on 4/9. Now it is just drifting off the coast of Tuxpan with a new arrival date of 4/15! The "updated" Volkswagen Schedule from PWL Shipping for week 14 does not show any of these changes.
So if the ship is just drifting off the coast of Tuxpan until 4/15, it already could go to Houston and Veracruz before then. Seems very strange. it seems these schedules from Porsche and PWL are not reliable. This misinformation published just makes a very long wait more frustrating.

My 2024 Cayenne SE has been produced yesterday (3/27 start, 4/9 end). Any chance production photos are also available for the Cayenne?

I don’t believe any production pics for Cayennes. Think I read maybe for the 911’s only they have cameras in the plant but not sure if that’s a current thing. Nice looking ride btw. Mines very similar. Cayenne SE hybrid in white Carrera. Hope to get mine in 4-5 weeks if it ever leaves the EMDEN port.

I just hope that this hold is not (much) longer that Porsche plans because that could ruin my European delivery plans.
But how f-ing ridiculous our laws and governments are - a Canadian owner cannot drive get a Canadian-market car in Europe until a US government agency allows it, despite the car having passed European certifications and having nothing to do with the US.

My base eHybrid delivery date on TYD just got moved back from 7/26 to 7/12 today. PO was confirmed on 3/13 and manufacturing start date is now 6/2. I know I am lucky its not been delayed. Same thing happened to my 992 S cab last year, delivery moved up rather than back from original projection. However as we all know things may change! I too am dissapointed that there are no Cayenne build photos. But overall glad that TYD was extended to Cayennes. Trying to check only once daily.
