Thanks for the update. For US costumers, have you heard or seen (on TYD) any changes to the 5/28 delivery date?

Nope My date as of Sunday had not changed from 5/28/2024 but my production isn't until March so the May arrival date makes sense and is line with my prev ordered cars which each took about 60-90 days to get stateside once produced and they left the factory at Zuffenhausen.

Cayenne is produced in Bratislava, Slovakia, not at Zuffenhausen.

I'd be surprised if the extra day on the train has much to do with final arrival compared to the potential delay at the German port.

Certainly not, especially since Slovak railways are fast and punctual. I can't comment on the efficiency of German ports, but they are probably not the best

Unfortunately no, my sources know nothing about the cars to be sent to the US market.

Well, I guess that one shouldn’t ask a question if you might not like the answer. A check of my TYD this morning shows that my 5/28 delivery date has shifted to 6/27. This is now officially bull****. I’ll see what PCNA offers me to stick around, but it better be really good. It’s the trajectory that pisses me off so much. As they say in weather forecasting “The trend is your friend” and this vehicle is trending towards vaporwear.

My 2014 E550 has been getting a lot of use in this crappy weather and seems to work just fine.

Mine too - I am now questioning my desire for it. The date just moves (2 months) and we have to go into a system to figure it out. I thought that the SW release would have solidified the earlier date (May 28) - instead - wham its 2 more months.

Correction its only 1 more month - I am going to call and find out how realistic this is.. I have almost no faith at this point..

Only a month. Not bad but can imagine how it must feel after a long wait to see it shift so much.

Assume given amount of cars that will need the software update that may be playing a role in some of the dates moving maybe? I know my former/now my wife's Taycan when it needed a software update took a whole day when initially projected to take 4 hrs from Porsche dealer so given the bandwith needed to hook up the car and get things going maybe at play here...who knows.

Mine went from 5/28 to 5/31 and my dealer confirmed no deliveries where I am located and still tracking arrival then from Porsche. So good to see some stability in the dates...as I was planning a mid June delivery likely anyway that works for me...am out of town 1st week anyway for work of June so will have nice surprise when I get back...maybe will go straight to the dealership from the airport! LOL

I called my dealer the day you posted this, he wasn't even aware that the bug fix was available! And to this day, nothing new in Switzerland!
