Anyone know if the tracking here is live after it left the port? I noticed the car moves everyday.
I venture to say no. When I tracked mine from Emden to Columbia across the Atlantic and compared the Porsche progress line against actual maritime trackers, the moment to moment didn’t match. The Porsche line did not even reflect the interim pick up stops in Hamburg and Bremerhaven after leaving Emden. What did match were the main start and end points dates for each major travel segment of the journey. I concluded that the Porsche tracking graphics are preprogrammed like percentage progress lines that will progressively move from A to B such that the start and end points match the scheduled dates.
Regardless, it’s still super cool in my opinion and a fun perk I haven’t experienced before with other brands I’ve owned.
So great your cars got thru the Panama Canal, that is huge!
You can ask your SA for the carrier name. It is fun to see the ship’s status!
Beware that it can be frustrating from my experience watching the boat anchored outside the Davisville port from Friday to Monday before getting into port and then finally moving towards Jacksonville.
Looks like we are on same carrier, my ETA says 10/4 to Porsche Fremont.

When I ordered my Targa, I tracked the actual ship and woke up at some stupid hour to watch it go through the canal on web cam 😄. I haven't asked for the name of the ship this time, the app is doing a good enough job and I'm trying hard to be slightly less obsessed this time. I'm failing.
Just wanted to share. I have one more day until they may start building my 911. very excited. the wait has been too long. I went to my local dealership about a 17 months ago. I left a $2500 deposit to get on a waiting list for an allocation. Finally my SA called me July this year. The SA walked me through the build and I was happy with it. We made a few changes before the freeze point and it postponed the production date by a few weeks. now it's only 1 day before production. Let's see how accurate the timeline is. 1 day

Congrats. Got the call from my SA today on unexpected additional allocations. My build and commission # and formal order were just accepted by the Porsche order system and have linked up this afternoon. My deposit was placed in late Aug 2023 and there were a few ahead of me that my SA said either got cars or dropped out so I got lucky today and so now the real fun aka the wait begins in earnest!

After initially placing the order in June 2023, our 24 base made it onto a vessel aka Pleiades Leader after being dispatched from the factory on 10/31, 17 day transit to port and a two day wait at port (crazy). ETA to the dealer is showing as 12/24 on TYD, PWL Group and NYK’s RORO schedule is showing ETA to San Diego as 12/13. Looks like a delivery before Christmas is definitely possible.
As after yesterday 6:30pm EST. Porsche TYD updated the order status and went from change freeze point to started productions. I'm happy it updated the day it was suppose to and not wait a few days to update. Seems like the TYD is catching up to real time progress.

My Base Cayenne completed production yesterday 11/20 and today is on its way to the port. TYD projects it arriving at port 11/25 and on a ship departing 12/03. I am doing a PECLA delivery. It will go to Port Houston then on a truck to LA.

thanks for posting this! Car looks great and your build is impressive. My car updated to arrived at the German port on Nov 22. My estimated arrival at port is December 19 and arrival at dealer January 24th. Heres my build:
