Default 2023 GTS Build Dates

Post your build schedule here if you want to amuse ourselves in the months ahead… thought it would be interesting to compare how our builds are progressing. My dates seem to have slipped but I made numerous changes in June and July, the last one 3 days ago. I didn’t order the Burmester Stereo but have most other options including Matrix lights that might explain my build date. My build looks to have slipped 2 months but not the delivery date…yet! Here is my timeline with a few missing dates.

Order date April 7, 2022…Accepted about 10 days later.
Allocation for 2023 MY build 5-13; est. build date given of “early July”
V 200 status (early June) 7-12 freeze date; 10-28 Delivery Date determined
V210 status (freeze on 7-12) 9-2 start production; 9-9 finish production: 10-28 estimated arrival at the Dealer

Since production was to start in July, was my build pushed back? If it builds as scheduled then my delivery date could slip? Looking like an early Christmas present!
Edit: Looking back at my V200 sheet I see my allocation was for 9/22 so it’s still on track. I don’t know what happened to the original “early July”!!! My final PC is PPGHHF92

Deposit date for '22 GTS Oct. 2021.
Allocation assigned May 2022. Changed to MY 2023, no indication anything would be held up. Code PPX5RS70.

Plan date V270 7/15. Actual Date -- Prior to July 1st. According to dealer.
New ETA (from dealer) 8/5. I think it is on SFL Conductor. Two other ships planned US in July. See attached.

For many reasons (setting my expectations too high, Burmester, dealer saying oops not your's, etc.) I am just going to wait until my car actually arrives instead of calling.

Anybody know the difference between v270 and v300? The former is exit production and the latter is vehicle complete. Mine went v270 last week but v300 is September.

It might be delayed to install certain options. There are two more V-Codes if you ordered certain Exclusive Manufaktur options:

V280 - Vehicle entry to CT-assembly
V290 - Vehicle exit of CT-assembly

The “Custom Tailoring” shop removes the standard equipment and re-installs options such as colored seat belts and deviated stitching, embossed Porsche logos, extra leather wrapping, interior trim in carbon fiber or certain woods, door handles or mirrors in high gloss black, etc. Not sure exactly which options trigger a trip to the Custom Tailoring shop. Look on the configurator and you’ll see those items noted in light grey as “Exclusive Manufaktur”.

Very good explanation here:

Thanks. I've seen the CT stages on prior GT car orders and understand how that works, but no CXX/CT options for my build. I guess the question is without those does 270 = 300 in the absence of CT aspects?

One other possibility is that they haven’t updated the v300 yet. The Burmester might be an option that would delay delivery, my other thought.
I hope it’s really building in July though…might be optimism for some of the rest of us.

No Burmeister, PCCB or other problematic options. It has the Lightweight package but haven't heard of that being an issue (yet...) I am doing an ED late fall so maybe that explains its limbo but wouldn't expect it to have changed. One of the first 23s allocated so who knows what's going on.

Not sure what is going on. Allocation May 27th, lock June 14th, build completed July 6th. Dealership called today with a VIN. Apparently on the ship in 2 days. Burmester was not available at time of order/lock. Other than that no issues.

Build code- PPRHYJD6, Has gone through some changes since I asked for opinions here https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...gts-build.html

Deposit paid- July 8,2022
Dealership said next GTS allocation is mine, likely when released in Q4 2022 but planning on waiting till Q1 2023 as I do not need it till end of June 2023 and in case LCI build starts Q2 2023, depending on changes, I might wait till then.

Congratulations to all and hope you get your vehicle sooner than later!

Thanks! Maybe we can compare pictures of our new rides sometime soon. My last 2 cars came in winter and I don’t live in Florida like some lucky guys…hoping this one comes before Halloween.
