Well after 5 months of waiting my tGT has finally arrived. As soon as it hit the dealership, it was off to get the wheels refinished in Platinum Silver to match the side stripes.

Freezing my spec soon on a 2024 Turbo GT. Do I get the thermal / noise glass? Worried it takes away sound and the connection to the road. Never had a car with double pane glass and never notice wind noise.
Have the thermal glass, no issues with cell connection on my end, not sure how much of a difference it makes as you hear mainly tire noise in the cabin.
I’ve owned 3 cayennes. 2 did not have the thermal glass. I ordered the TGT with thermal because it’s black. I feel the cabin is noticeably cooler on super hot days and definitely quieter on the road. That said is does effect garage door opener and radar detector function unless placed specifically to left or right of rear view mirror. Really don’t feel it effects cell phone coverage at least in my location. It does also offer some addl privacy without having to tint all windows. I plan to order it again as the benefits outweigh any drawbacks. Hope that helps..

You didn't notice any loss of engine noise lower in the RPM range just cruising around the city? My fear is losing the connection to the engine sound at lower speeds. Do you have to get up the rev range on the Turbo GT more with the isolated glass to hear it better?
No still plenty of engine feedback in all ranges. Especially in sport or sport plus. Little less exhaust note than the GTS which was welcome as a bit excessive for a daily..

here in EU the new MK2 TGT sadly will be not available…from a side is a good news due my 2022 TGT is only 6 months old ,but from the other side I love this car and the new one from my taste looks better again and surely will be faster too,but i can’t order it.
what the guys outside USA think about this “problem” that seems to be more common also with other cars in the not far future?!
