Default NEW 2021 GTS Coupe Order - Other options?

Putting this together today with the dealer as there is a May slot available with delivery June/July.

http://www.porsche-code.com/PMIUIAK0

Anything else that would be recommended?
Keeping the build under 150k for local tax reasons.
thanks!

well out here in bc (bring cash) it's an extra 5% pst on top of the ludicrous luxury tax that already exists. no bueno.

Perhaps too late, but why did you not get the Premium Package? You have almost every options from that package in your build. Adding the package adds ambient lighting and reduces the build cost by $1,360.

For a May build, I suspect it isn't truly locked yet. Call your SA and see if he can make that change. He really should have caught that, so hopefully he will be able to push it through.

What luxury tax (in addition to the extra 5% pst) exists in BC? It must be a provincial luxury tax because until the federal 20% tax arrives in January 2022, there is no federal luxury tax that I know of.

So on a $140,000 GTS, the luxury tax is $14,000 and the new federal luxury tax will be 20% of the amount over $100,000, so $40,000 x 20% = $8,000.00. So the two luxury taxes combine for a total of $22,000.00 Then there is the BC PST and the federal GST on $140,000.00 7% + 5% = 12% = $16,800. So the total tax in 2022 on a $140,000 vehicle will be $38,800.00 (effectively 27.7%). Do I have that right?

The BC luxury tax on cars starting at $57,000 is an NDP policy. I like to call the NDP the Robin Hood Party (rob from the rich and give to the poor) or the Wealth Redistribution Party. The last time that party was in power in my province, it ran an annual $1B deficit but played a shell game to try and say it was only $800,000 per year.

For a 140k vehicle taxes are as follows
pst - 15% $21000
gst - 5% $8050 (yes, you pay gst on the pst)
new federal luxury tax is 40k x 20% = $8000
Total tax bill is $37050
