Many thanks!!!!
I ran them on the right side above the A pillar, above the 2 side windows and then I put the battery backup in the spare tire area and plugged the power plug into the cigarette outlet on the left side of the trunk.

I'm a Blackvue fan too, but man the Porsche Dashcam looks super nice, albeit probably less features than BV.

Anyone thinking about trying to install it?

I'd like to see a factory rear view mirror with a Porsche dash cam incorporated directly into the rear view mirror mounting bracket. I'd pay additional for that.

Did you run the wires for the rear camera through factory wiring grommets? If so did you have to remove the rear hatch weather strips?
How did you remove the rear boot wiring grommet? Are there any clips?

No the wires are pushed into the pillar cover trim and you can get all the way to the back, you need those orange tools, Some people take the trim off but is not necessary

@toma nova
Could you please confirm, inorder to remove this rubber grommets, is it just a matter of pulling them out ? Are they not secured by plastics ?
Did you also pull the weather strip out in the boot liner close to the wiring grommet ?
did you also remove the plastic panel on the rear door close to the grommet or did you manage to fish the wires without taking these trims ?

Hi all, does anyone know/ have any instructions on how to remove the A-pillar ? I’d like to run the dashcam wires under the airbags hence the question
do you have to remove any screws or is it just a matter of pulling the a-pillar trim out hoping no clips might break?

That grommet just pulls out from both the hatch and the frame. It won’t move very far since it is full of wires, I used a small thin screwdriver to push the cam wire through.

I did not remove any plastic panels or the A pillar trim, simply used the included trim tool to push the wire under the trim or rubber molding.

Sorry, may I please ask if you removed this panel to run the wires ?
also, did you had to remove the weather strip in the rear trunk to route wires through the grommet ?

I just tucked the wire in, I didn’t have to remove it
