Just received a call from my SA. My base model Cayenne is on a transport from Houston and will be delivered to me on Saturday or Monday.

Mi local dealer in Houston got some delivered today. I saw one today, and I might end up getting it. The interior is WAY better than the interior of the previous Cayenne.

Personal update about PSCBs. My base Cayenne with PSCBs locked 7/30 and was scheduled to be built the beginning of August. It kept getting bumped back and there was chatter on this board about a 4 to 6 months delay for PSCBs. But I got word today from my SA that my car finished being built today. He did not know if the delays for my car were because of the PSCBs or something else. So there may not be a long delay on PSCBs.
My dealer in central Florida is receiving base Cayennes now, 7 so far this week. It looks very nice and it has a strong and substantial presence. They were all, except one, the standard dealer fare (white, black, biscay blue outside with standard black interiors). The exception was Rodium Silver (has blue tint to it) with a full leather Slate Gray/Mojave Beige interior. Not what I would have ordered, but very nice color combination.

You guys are great, Porscherex and jj87. Our Phantom Turbo may never show up (we've been at this process for 18 months!), but posts like yours with positive comments about the base Cayennes keep us hanging on. Thanks!

Car is getting into Jacksonville today. Possible delivery Tuesday. Interested in what the "summer performance tire" option will be on the 21 inch Rs Spyder rim we ordered. Hoping for P4S Michelins!

I'm a little knew here; and to porsches in general. When was the first cayennes originally scheduled for delivery? Both the base as well as the Ts?

We we put in our order for the T back in early summer of this year. At that time we had a tentative delivery date of dec. now it has been moved to Jan but that is because we agreed to change to the ceramics. If we did not do that we were told the Jan would instead be sometime in the Spring.

But out anyway being new here I'm just curious when originally was the new model slated to be first deliver to the States? IOWs how far behind are they running now compared to org plans?

Car hit my dealer today and I was able to check it all out. Love the color combo I went with, quartzite grey metallic exterior with the 21” turbo wheels in satin platinum. 2 tone interior black/Mohave beige (not shown). The color is much darker than the quartzite shown on the cayenne turbo hybrid that’s on YouTube. Much closer to volcano grey. Sorry about the poor quality it was actually a video that I took a screen shot of.

Congratulations! We were deciding between grey and carrara white and ended up ordering carrara white with the same 21 satin platinum wheels and gloss black trims like yours. Can't wait!
