Minor update: We got word today that our Turbo is now V210 ("change freeze point reached"), moved from V200. Estimated delivery date is still December 21. Our SA checked on the possibility of delay with the sport exhaust and illuminated carbon fiber door sills, and came away with nothing official from Porsche, or unofficial otherwise. So maybe we're still on track. Fingers crossed.
I tell you, this is one of the most ridiculous and exhilarating experiences of our lives. I wonder if actual delivery of the car will be anticlimactic at this point.

Excellent news. Our Turbos will likely be built at nearly the same time. My SA says that once it gets to this point then they have assessed that they will have the parts to build it. Although anything can happen and there is still the EPA stuff.
PSCB still not available for at least 16 weeks. I was able to change to PCCB in August but was told that the availability of PCCB was getting low then. I had to do this as I need the car in Dec/Jan. My guess is that there will be a set of Turbos delivered and then a gap before others get built due to part availability. My SA said that they were pulling PSCB off of non-Turbos (lots being built for Europe) - They just underestimated how popular the new brakes would be.

This is just getting ridiculous. Not only they started selling the cars a year later than expected, they also cannot get all the options ready at the same time and ran out of parts. Seems like Porsche is trying to be more like Tesla, not in a good way.
Just heard from my dealer, Porsche received certification last Friday. They began shipping the cars today. Dealer expects I will have it within the week.

That’s great. Post some pics of your machine when you get it. It’s gonna feel pretty awesome to be one of the first in the USA!
Just got a call from my dealer. SOME GOOD NEWS - they are cautiously optimistic that my Cayenne will be delivered in late September (it arrived in US a few days ago)
Anyone else hear this ????
