What did you do to your 958 today?

Burning Brakes
Between the thread in the DIY section and the PDF file for the TSB provided by Porsche, me documenting it didn't seem too worthwhile. The only revelation is that it's not necessary to completely remove the side panel if you don't have a CD changer as the module will fit in the area behind the access panel. Also, I did have to trim the plastic around the mounting bracket for the trailer plug on the bumper a bit. I used a box cutter and took my time.

Great thread!
Upgraded the rubber pedal caps and added the matching dead pedal with crest on my new-to-me '12 v6 6speed this past weekend. Tightening the crest with supplied fastners was a PITA as well as fitting the clutch pedal cap but well worth the effort in my opinion.
Forgot to take a before photo...

Yesterday she got a bath and was finally able to take off her winter "boots" for her summer "track shoes". Her track shoes are brand new Continental CrossContact UHP 295/35-21s. As I pulled onto the street from the driveway, ever single piece of dirt was being picked up by the new tires. Sorry for no pics, but was in a huge hurry to get her clean, swap the winter rims for summer and then make sure everything was ready before heading out. And of course, it is going to rain today.....Curious to see what kind of mileage I get out of these.

While you all were making your Cayenne’s pretty, I was getting mine dirty at Autocross. Bought our 2013 GTS in Jan and needed to get a feel for how well it handled in a controlled environment. Happy to say it’s damn awe inspiring! The car was ordered with all the suspension options and really handled the tight corners well. All on Conti all season tires. May have gotten better times then in my 911

What did I do today? Well the weekend at least....
Fixed the blower! Damn thing stopped working and replaced with a unit from Ebay. Working fans and aircon again!
Still looking at the Carplay integration again - will see what I can do later in the month.

I have tilted the exhaust tips down today. The guys at a local car meet said the car looks dope now. Whatever that means.

I installed new clear turn signal indicators. During my PPI a couple months back, the condensation was brought to my attention and it gradually became worse so decided it was time to install a new set with new chrome DOT legal bulbs. As you can see in the before pics below, I found the cracked interior housing which was causing the condensation. Not sure if anyone else's has experienced this damage..

Replaced scuffed up passenger rear fender liner (a little tougher than I thought due to 2 bolts needing an open needed wrench to get to which I did not have). Don't mind the untucked fender liner, had to get back in there and tuck it in.
Installed stainless steel scuff plates.
Now if I can only find a set of silver 20" RS Spyders, I'll be content

Decided to remove the tarnish from the hatch scuff plate since it was a cloudy warm day this morning. I use flitz on my other vehicle to polish and protect metals so I gave it a go on the cayenne. Well then one thing led to another and I went from the hatch, to the tail pipes, to the muffler and finally onto the roof rails that desperately needed a polish as soap and water doesn't help in any way. The sun came out so it forced me to stop before starting on anythinng new thereafter..

Our diesel just turned 80,000 - treated 'Oits' with new wiper blades.
Next up the requisite oil change, already had the filters changed prior to the Dyno run. Wanted a clean air flow to see what the engine was really putting out.
