Sport mode? depends on if my wife is with me or not. I'm happy with my CTT averaging 17.9 mpg--my old '08 Pathfinder w the 4.0 V6 only got 17 mpg so I've got nothing to complain about. My E92 M3 only gets 14.9 mpg and with the non-EDC (non adjustable) suspension, the ride's a bit harsh.

The air suspension in mine is always in the "low" setting and has never changed itself. "Low" isn't the lowest setting, that's "Load" which I don't believe is advisable for driving.

In load setting, once you get above like 10mph, it jumps above low and back to normal setting. I always forget to reset it...so I just keep it in low mode even though I like the look of loan better. Once in low though, it hasn't moved from there on it's own.

I'm a button pusher. Constantly changing all my sport, level & suspension modes.
Roads vary around here. But when on PCA Sport Drives, it's always in Sport & couldn't care less about gas mileage.

Lately I've been fooling with the start/stop, and just changed my gauge view to show me the voltage. Interestingly it seems to restart when it gets down to 12.3,... but then as soon as it starts, it jumps down to 12.1 & then starts to climb back up from there. With A/C on & Burmester blasting, it won't stay off for more than 45 seconds or so.

So my first honeymoon tank with lots of spirited driving came out at 11.7 mpg.

Good thing you didn't drive it back from the West Coast, you would have been broke before you got home! Keep filing her up!

I drive in the "low" setting all the time. When I use Sport mode, it raises to the mid-level. Do NOT understand why it does this annoying adjustment.

Center console, lower set of buttons. Usually upper left button.

Dunno.. mines been from NJ to CA and back. Did close to 20MPG overall on the trip, and that included some extended 95MPH+ driving. The '06 S took that trip too.. (as have 2 BMW motorcycles, a Lexus, a BMW 5-touring and a few other vehicles I forget at the moment.)

Interesting. This doesn't make sense. If the vehicle is already set to the low suspension setting using the air suspension height control, if you then hit the sport button to enable sport mode, the ride height should not change. It should stay in the low setting. It certainly shouldn't go from the low to the mid height setting. Doesn't sound right.

If the vehicle's suspension ride height is in the mid level (normal) setting however, and then you press the sport button to enable the sport mode, the ride height will automatically lower itself to the low setting (and the PASM will go to 'sport' mode). If you then press the sport button again to disable sport mode, then the suspension will go back to the normal/mid setting.

If you turn the vehicle off while still in sport mode, it will keep the low suspension height on restart and until you change it again yourself (on the 957s it would raise back to normal/mid level when you shut the vehicle off, but not on the 958s).

Is it possible the "Low" setting you're referring to is actually "Load" and it's moving up to Low, which you're calling mid - that would actually make sense since you can't drive around in the Load setting.

On my 958.2 GTS, SPORT puts it in normal ride height. SPORT PLUS puts it in low ride height.

Q: Does LOAD setting on ride height drop it even lower on all 4 corners. If so, I might have to select that when I park because stance is life yo!

My average mileage, all driving, is just under 16 mpg.

Yeah, the Macan GTS I had only went to low suspension height in 'sport plus' mode too now that I think about it.

And re: your question about the LOAD setting, the answer is yes (but you can't drive it in that setting).
