Kept old pad, just installed. Charging up the old battery and going to Runa test after it's fully charged to see if it's bad.

New hood insulator is in and the car is quiet. No more clicking sound and the car feels more luxurious.
I also charged my totally dead battery and all my radio problems went away and now the start stop is back up and working. Wish it wasn't as it's bothersome.

Oh, the hood insulator takes 13 clips. I ordered 12 and I'm one short when I thought I'd have extra.

bought it, installed it, and pleased with it. Certainly makes engine bay look way more finished, quiets the engine a bit, and probably keeps a bit of heat off the hood paint.
I'm a fan for $140 all in.

to update my post, received the hood pad last week from Pelican and it came with all the clips.

It's only equipped for hybrids. The factory would have used one if it was meant to have it.

believe they can be purchased for around $100 but do not forget to also buy the clips
someone else will need to chime in if the come in any other color then black (umber)
