Just put pad in today. Swear it’s louder than before, and yes that’s what it sounds like. My brother drove it for two hours yesterday and said same thing when he rode in it today.

I'd like to order this hood pad for my 958.1 Turbo. It appears p/n 958 556 831 00 is for the pad only (sans clips). Can someone confirm the part number for the 12 clips needed to secure the pad in place?

from what I've seen, the clips come with it when you order at dealer.

Thanks, but i don't order parts from my local P dealer as they hold a monopoly in this state and have insane markups. I'll be ordering online either through sunset porsche parts or gaudin porsche parts. Do you know if the online retailers will include the clips with p/n 958 556 831 00?

Same thing happened to RAudi. We both bought ours from carid. Mine came with clips and his didn't.
