Replaced the spark plugs and checked coils for cracks. Took about 2 hours as I was cleaning everything as I went. Also noticed that hydraulic oil was a touch low.

Beginning the task of cleaning this mess. Valve cover has a slight weep in it and i'll be tackling it next weekend.
Old water pump and the mess it made:
Ready for the new pump:
New Pump, thermostat and pull in:
How to arrange all the hoses on reassembly:
One old reservoir and one new reservoir. Look at the difference:
Get yourself one of these if you DIY:

Was going do the pipes also, following your DIY, but they looked perfect and I had to put in some time with the family so I just spent the spare time cleaning the engine bay and wrapped it up.
I've got a broken coil bolt that must have snapped while driving. I was going to pull out the broken piece but decided to wait till I put the new gaskets on in a week or so.

The two rubber squares? Yes, I purchased those and installed. The old ones were weeping also.
Also managed to get out the broken bolt with my pick

How did you break that bolt? Over torque? I think those are aluminum right? I think I tightened mine a little more than snug. You can definitely tell they are fragile. I used a little anti sease on the stainless screws that hold the cover on. Just because of the dissimilar metals.
