Well car ****s like new now, smooth with no clunking.
Rough 1-2 is still present, but this is TCM related not valve body. So TCM has to changed with newer SW version.
If you upgraded the valvebody you should also do the TCM at the same time. There was some back and forth on this but my techs were all adament about needing to do both since the new valvebody is a different design. Mine has been fine ever since.

I'll replace TCM also. I just have to figure out which part number I need and I'll make order.
I'm just parroting what I was told at the time but they (Hilton Head Porsche) said it had to be a new TCM to go with the new VB, and the tech was a good friend of mine so I trust his judgment. It wasn't expensive as far as Porsche parts go, $300 something. My thinking is it's probably technically possible to do a reflash but Porsche isn't having the dealers do it that way. They'd probably charge you $400 to do a reflash anyway.
