PCM 3.0 Touchscreen and dials stopped working
The PCM touchscreen and dials in my 2010 957 GTS suddenly stopped working. The buttons all remain functional as are the steering wheel controls. Navigation, bluetooth phone calls, radio, cd and the display all still work. I can't get to the touchscreen on/off checkbox or into any menu as it requires a touch.
Someone in the 997 forum had the same issue, took it to a dealer who could not fix and ended up replacing with aftermarket. https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...esponsive.html
Suncoast has new units for $3999, nothing available at parts society.
I've pulled fuse 11 on the passenger side and disconnected the battery temporarily but the problem still persists.
I'm looking for all suggestions and for someone who still repairs these units. If I knew what i was going inside for i wouldn't hesitate to open it up.

Search for "Becker" in NJ - they repair them. Probably $500 or so. They have a good reputation and since you're in NJ you could take it right to them (I think they're near Montclair - mebbe Rt46). And there is a master reset for these, but I don't offhand remember what it is. It uses the buttons so non-functioning touch-screen and ***** shouldn't be an issue. Someone will pop up with it.

I believe it is. On the other units with the phone pad, you'd hold 1, 4, and 8 down simultaneously to do a reset.
