Edit: Also, how much more scraping to be expected with it? 😬

Good eye Rob, you are correct. The details are I came down the straight way too hot, missed the braking point and eat the turn in cone. It hit so hard it broke off the lower neck in the passenger radiator. I never thought a cone could actually fit "under" the car but I guess with enough force anything is possible. With that said a short story.
Once upon a life I was traveling from Phoenix back to Virginia in a 87 944 turbo (951 for those who refuse to call them 944s, but I digress). It was 2AM in the morning, around this time of year, snowing slightly and cold. Visibility wasn't that great and surprisingly the roads were busy. All tractor trailers going somewhere. I'm on 77 north just outside Charlotte NC with hours ahead of me when all hell broke loose. The road at the time was under construction with barriers on both side so no breakdown lane or lane to pull over for several miles. I'm "in the cradle" with trucks all around me front side and behind when suddenly the truck to my right locks up the brakes and is sliding around. Fraction of a second later as I am wondering what is happening the one behind me locks the breaks and the one on front of me does also.
What happens next may never happen on earth again. Both the truck in front of me and beside me run over what would be the contents of an entire house of furniture. Apparently a truck hauling furniture lost its load and could not get off the road. At 75mph I hit the brakes as the truck besides me crushes a dining room set sending a table leg through my passenger window and removing my side mirror. The truck in front of me trailer bounces feet in the air, mows over a couch and God places it dead center of my lane.
Guess what, it actually went UNDER my car launching it in the air. Not until I hit who knows what in the car, all the contents of anything sitting inside the car levitated (coffee included) and the car landed inches from the truck to my right. Fishtailed but kept control and didn't die. (kind of obvious since I am typing this but worth mentioning) On it way to visit the truck behind me the couch took the lip spoiler, one entire headlight housing (flip ups on the 944) and knocked out both fog lights. Holy carnage batman.
4.5 hours later after a freezing ride home on one headlight in the snow I arrived safely at home with a story to tell. My insurance agent " let me get this straight. You ran over a couch?!!!"
You just cant make this stuff up. Cheers Mike
