Thanks for the kind words! The 675 is a wickedly fast car, even in stock form. Was the one you were at the event with stock or modified?

My 997 is a full TechArt GTstreet R.
I've raced many Mcls inc 675LT and 600LT at VMAX. Blew their doors simply with bigger VTGS , quality coolers and racefuel but also because they struggle to launch. Looking forward to lining up against 720s but that may be a step too far. We'll see next year I'm sorely tempted to upgrade to a 720s watching them at events

Owner of 600LT had just bought her new and only covered 2000 miles so maybe he doesn't know how to use LC but it was so embarrassing I had to let win a few races or he was going to self implode having just spent £230,000. I love the Techart GT Street makes me wonder whether to take mine to next level with 9ff awd delete and tractive suspension. Wont be able to do this to Mcls anymore though

Too Cool. I jumped him a launch just like you did. Immediately 5-6 car lengths in first 2 seconds then continued to pull him until about 3/8 mile. Our races end at 1/2 because we run out of runway. It's a small airport. Before you "upgrade to a MC" let me fly out and drive in VMax with you. Would love to see la those cars. Not many state side. To honor the tread here is a random shot, thought the shot was well framed.

Cheers, Mike

Took a drive yesterday. Temps were down around 38 and threw a code for temperature.

Dave,

Nice car BTW. What code did it throw and why? Just because it was in the 30s or does the car adjust mapping based on temps. Just wondering.
Also curious what front mess you are running.
Cheers, Mike

Believe the cluster gives you a temp warning when its cold (because of tires), not a code.

Got all the cars washed today! Temps were in the high 50s, low 60s this morning and it was incredible.

Cheers Mike
Wash day last weekend for me too. For us convertibles are always red and 911s always black.

The codes were P3081, Engine temp and P2181 Cooling system performance. The codes came on before I got out of the driveway. Maybe someone out there knows the why. The mesh is from the guys in England. I forget their name.
Just did a little research. Could be a faulty Transmission Disc valve. Anyone else have this problem when both codes show up?
Thanks
