TT owners - switch to GT3?

You can drive the TT daily in comfort, hit the track hard, take the wife out to dinner later in a driving storm. No other car in the world has that versatility. Stock, it is nasty at the track, modded like Lou's it's badass!

I bought the TT as my second Porsche. My first one is my track duty work horse and it's a 993 c2s. Neither is my daily driver.
- Had I not had a track car, I probably would have bought the GT3 over the TT. But then again, having had the TT on the track, it is more than just capable. It's pretty freaking awesome, even stock.
But I wanted the versatility.

p.s. - Mastif, I can't even convince you to take the TT to the track. Why would you even consider the GT3? The TT definately sounds like the right choice for you.

You have to be a better driver to get the GT3 to go as fast on the track than a TT. Its more rewarding. I sold a TT to get a GT3. I think the GT3/RS is the top of the Porsche drivers tree.
The TT on top of the Grand touring tree.
The TT is just not made to do what the GT3 does out of the box. If you want to go from San Fran to
Park City Utah fast and comfortable on the interstate the TT is the car. It is a Grand touring car, plus you can mod the heck out it to extract silly amouts of power, but for me it does no good.

almost all the editors and enthusiasts have stated that it is harder to drive the 997TT at the limits, because it is NOT as easy to handle or as linear as the GT3. By that regard, the TT driver has to work much harder on entry and exits to come close to the same corner speeds, and thus require much more skill. The straightaways are another matter altogether.
