I realize I haven't posted photos of the car yet. I actually do photography as a hobby and I'm really looking forward to a photo shoot. Work, time and weather are just not cooperating right now either. I was planning to shoot some Saturday, but now snow is in the forecast. Better photos soon!

For anyone looking for a good work light and have Dewalt tools this light works well. I just received it today and briefly tested it in my garage. Light output and spread should work great while working on vehicles.

Keep in mind, this is a "bare tool" and will require the Dewalt battery.

Ceramic coated Fabspeed tips and Sharkwerks cat back exhaust. The tips really fill out the exhaust cutouts nicely. The exhaust has got a good startup sound, but when you get on it at mid throttle has got too much Subaru-ish blat. I wouldn’t recommend it, but I’m kind of stuck in Ca—don’t want to repeat the CEL/smog readiness hassles and risk of getting tagged I went through with my old 996tt with an illegal exhaust. Speedtech has got an x-pipe cat back that promises better sound if/when I decide I can live with a pdk long term.

All these pretty tasteful mods done by previous owner. All I’ve done is repaint the front lip, only to have it look the same as before 6 weeks later. Since you are considering lowering, at least my experience is that car is not comfortable to drive on anything but the smoothest highways. I did add a DSC controller, which helps. By comparison, my e92 M3 feels so much more planted and smooth on the highway. But the Porsche rules the canyons.

No, I have never heard of Radiator Grill before now, but installing the Zunsports was so easy even I could do it in 15 minutes or so. I used some painter's tape to protect the ppf while I shoved the meshes into place, and most of the 15 minutes was taken removing the tape from the tight seams. I'd say the fit was perfect, also.

DSC Controller installed tonight and a test run with my son. The DSC is an absolute necessity in my book! Tighter through the turns and much smoother in Sport mode. I only had a few minutes to test, but it's definitely a top 3 mod. I planned to install the Cobb too, but I ran out of time. With snow in the forecast for tomorrow the Cobb and photoshoot will have to wait until later next week. Coils, plugs and Europipe being installed Tuesday.

FedEx brought a goodie that will torture me for the next 5 weeks while I work organizing and cleaning this nasty garage.

Bottom photo from the Outback parking lot tonight. Have a great weekend!

Europipe will be awesome....I pretty much did everything you are doing. When you install Cobb make sure you use a 10 amp battery charger....I had a few snafus with Ctek which freaked me out ..the Cobb install crapped out a couple of times. Sambo custom tune will also make a huge difference....I went with AIM performance since they were local to me.

Since I got the car CPO from a dealer I had them do the 60k mile service which includes plugs, serpentine belt and AWD controller fluid etc.

Thanks for the advice on the charger. I have a CTek too, but plan to pick up a 10A tomorrow just to be safe. I'm going to hold off on the Cobb tune until after the exhaust is installed on Tuesday.

All quiet on the build today other than a wash. I did spend the afternoon cleaning out the garage which was long overdue. EP and coils / plugs tomorrow.

That new exhaust note will change the character quite a bit; you'll love it. And then the custom tune... Hold onto your hat!

Dropped off the car this morning. Going to be a long day, but I should get it back by close of business. I'm so over the Dyson vacuum sound.

i'm sure it's going to sound great. my car came with a fabspeed maxflow, i think the non-sport version. it still sounded like an irritated vacuum cleaner. upgrading to the speedtech x-pipe was a night and day difference. i'm sure the europipe will be similar. sounds more like an exotic now and the added bonus was much more aggressive turbo whistle.

Shop called and needs until the morning to finish up the work. Not what I wanted to hear especially trying out a new shop and dropping it at 8:00 a.m. I feel like it's hurry up and wait when it comes to everything these days.
