PDK cab 31k mi. Not going to bring the highest. Don’t get me wrong — its a fantastic car.

Yeah cabs sell for less so I’m not too surprised, and 7 owners is high, but it reminds me of that other 997TTS above that bid to 80 on BAT and sold for 140 on C&B a month later.
I’ll quote myself,
I’ll quote myself,
BAT doesn't seem to show up if [the 997]’s not a manual.

Guys... we are in the beginning of a "real" ****-show economy... Porsche Southampton has two brand new Cayenne Turbo GT's sitting out on the lot and tons of other inventory.. the same for GoldCoast (I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't buy a new GT car at list.) Even the local Ford dealer has a new Bronco Raptor without markup sitting out on the lot amongst a bunch of other Broncos. The bloom is off the flower. New cars are getting cheap... and of course this market will too. Even the venerable GT 911s will suffer.
I know everyone is looking forward to the rate cuts but what will follow will make you happy that you had been paying down all of your debt... nobody is going to be out there bidding up Turbos whilst their daily drive BMW 7 series, G wagons, and S class cars are worth less than the payoff (if you really want to see some tears.. head over to the Taycan and Panamera forums)! Just wait till a nice .1 car comes up and then it will really look bleak... talking about a market pushed beyond it's expiration date.....whoa!
I'm sitting on the sideline smoking a davidoff and applying Ceramic coating to all of my sets of wheels waiting for $10K off and zero % financing on a new 4XE.... all the while not worrying about the fact that I'm within spitting distance of 30K on my practically worthless cabriolet turbo...
On a serious note (not that this isn't a bummer....) This will pass and the strong cars will still rise to the surface. The manual cars will come back up (even cabriolets, multi owners, and at some point even the mileage won't matter)... Turbo S cars will follow and then all the rest. Just sit tight and maybe consider a Turbo S as a daily driver! I sure the heck am....

Seems about right to a little high for a significantly modded cat-less, lowered, and questionable interior finishes car. Hate to be harsh but it’s just what I see.
that car won’t pass emissions in a lot of states and would cost a bundle to sort.

I think that car could have gone a bit higher if the right two people were in the "room" during bidding. As you note, someone who wants this car is going to be a very specific buyer given the specs/status. The lack of a cat would personally be a problem for me, not necessarily from an inspection perspective, but I prefer to run cats in my cars. The time and expense to add in cats would be a turn off, personally. And frankly, wait a week or two, and another nice 997tt will be up for sale on BAT. No need to settle.

think every 997turbo has a cleaner under side than that 6k example from last week. There definitely was some funny business going on with that car. And for BAT to take down observations from the photos showing coolant leak is a joke.
For the red car the outside bottom of both seats have a lot of patina (wear) for 21k miles, must have been a heavy couple that owned it.

And speaking of the right car with the right people in the room. A data point. $114k. Great specimen.

Miss my 997.2 Aerokit turbo--- looking for another coupe with factory Aerokit but would like S (or turbo with pccb) this time as I am too old to clean rims. Up to $120k for right car. No color preference, miles ok too--any leads appreciated. Would make a nice stablemate for my RS. thanks

edit:
This is probably the best value (miles to price) 997 Turbo S on the open market, pending PPI given where it’s lived (notably MA & WI). Looks great at a first glance no clear usual wear marks I’m used to seeing on the interior, maybe work with them on price given the PDK will need to be serviced based on the records.
