Now we can see where it was coming from. There was a gap on the glue there and the rest didn’t make any contact.

Installed an OEM Aero spoiler today. Traded my original spoiler plus cash from a local guy selling his Turbo with the Aero spoiler installed on it. Had to get the top deck resprayed but im ecstatic as i love the aero spoiler but could never find myself getting a replica.

Nice! Did you get a new cable for the fan/brake light or did you get into the ECU and disable the wing deployment function to avoid the CEL?

I ordered a new cable. Still hasnt shown up yet, should be here any day now.

Any idea on how to get the Third breaklight out? Theres no way to get to it from the back and looking at the replacement third breaklights its held on by a spring mechanism.

You can only remove the light from the back without damaging it. You'll need to remove the fan and reach in and press the clamp to release the light.

Got bored and decided to install carbon fiber doors sills and the plastic trim. Completes my carbon fiber interior.

Not terribly hard, i heated every section i was lifting with heat gun. I started first with a plastic trim tool until i can get my hands under it. Takes alot of force to lift it up.

Those look good! Swapped mine out to the aluminum version earlier this year. Now that it looks so pretty, you have to do the leg sweeps as you get in and out to avoid new scratches and scuffs!

Alternatively, put a PPF on it. That should help with the scuffing.

Swapped these springs out today. Rear was too soft with 8k springs. Went to a 12k…mush better ride and more confidence.

I like your wing; my factory 997.1 wing finally has the hydraulic issue on the passenger side. This week going to rebuild the wing motor and hydraulic system. I would like to replace the stock wing with an aftermarket/carbon fiber wing. I don't want to replace the whole deck lid; want to stay with the factory system. I found a wing from Vividracing, the VR Aero GT2. Looks very similar to yours. Where did you purchase the wing? I was also thinking about adding the 2" spacers for the rams from Renntech.

You nailed it- the VR GT2 CF wing. I had it painted to match. Funny enough, my next project is installing the Rennkit 3inch eRam kit and Magnus Motorsports slim fan kit.

I installed the 996 hardtop brackets today.

Nothing to show yet, but will be putting on a hardtop soon.
