I would have expected to see PSM light flashing away but it doesn't appear to come on at all, the car stays mega stable all by itself !
Great to see this outcome...

Great instincts on everything but, you know, the decision to drive over 200mph on a public road. Speed limit or not, that's just dumb. Lucky he didn't kill himself, his passenger, or some other unlucky person who happened to be driving on the highway.

I agree, you are definitely taking a risk when driving at those speeds. He was on the autobahn,so perfectly legal. Many have done it and they were perhaps more fortunate. I personally could not blame him except if perhaps his tires were worn out and/or old. Then it's negligence.

What maximum speed would you consider not to be "dumb" to be driving in a 7GT2 in those conditions on an autobahn ?

Anyway, this video is an excellent narrative on why going stupidly fast on public roads like the autobahn is a tough choice. There are just too many uncontrolled variables.

C'mon guys, why do we buy these cars in the 1st place? The system in Germany allows you to drive at those speed and it's perfectly legal. No point in being a Monday afternoon QB. **** happens when you are going fast. It's a risk you have to be willing to take.

much less drama than I expected, actually almost none. wonder what that tire looks like?

This is not the GT2 from the 207mph video, this was my 996 GT3 in 2013 at about 160mph. Luckily no drama.
On a different note I did 310kph (193mph) indicated a couple of hours earlier that day on a deserted part of the autobahn, and there was no drama with that either. Car felt rock solid. As these videos shows having something wrong happen even at these speeds do not necessarily mean a big accident.

It's a very good question. If I'm being fair, then I have to answer in the context of how I have behaved on the autobahn. I've done ~110ish (briefly) in cars far less capable than a GT2. So, it would be dishonest for me to say less. But, that's pretty much where I think things are starting to get too dangerous.
Here's a 2 minute Bahn blast in the tuned GT2
This is the trace of a 100 mile trip on the Autobahn in a tuned GT2.
