RL's need your intel/advice
I have had a rare 09 GT2 ( approx 25 made in 09- has all the updated electronics of the 10-11 997.2's) with PTS Orange, 1500 miles, 218K MSRP and perfect showroom condition of course. made available to me. PP will likely be mid 180's. Thoughts in term of value? I have a very good handle on the GT3 RS values and decent understanding of the GT2 RS values. This seems like a very good value but need your advice.
AS always thank you!

Hard to put a value on with PTS and only 1500 miles. I would't be surprised if someone would pay lose to MSRP. But at $180k it will probably sell within 24hours.

There were exactly 20 2009 GT2's for the U.S. and less than 150 (of 1,216 total over the three year 2007-09 production) worldwide. Of these 1,216, less than 100 were PTS, in keeping with Porsche's general rule that less than 10% of limited production models are allowed to be customer selected colors.
So, you have last of production combined with PTS, collector low miles and a very high (highest?) MSRP - as good as it gets.

I don't enter into arguments on forums, and I do know who you are Eduardo and greatly respect your Porsche knowledge; however, your "pilgrim" comment is downright insulting. Please come to Detroit and see what is likely the largest collection of rare PTS modern Porsche's anywhere and we can discuss this in person.

I have had the pleasure of visiting with secret collector. his collection is well...... pretty spectacular... I think Seinfeld would be impressed too... not sure why he's been called a "pilgrim...."
but what do I know. I just have a few ok cars that I flog all day.

for what its worth from a completely independent objective party that doesn't know secret collector or Eduardo, I read absolutely nothing into his use of the word "pilgrim", other than maybe someone that has watched too many john wayne movies... I read it purely as a colloquial term like, "buckaroo", or "dude", etc.... not trying to poke my beak somewhere it doesn't belong, just saying, that sometimes things come across different than intended without in person context...
back to topic, $180k seems like a good price, considering the rarity and mileage, and considering that there are low mileage 2010 GT3 RS cars trading not far from that...

there is a white 2008 GT2 on ebay asking 130K. Is the fact that it's a 2009, a unique color and lower miles make it worth 50K more? There's also the issue that it looks like there won't be a 991 GT2 produced which would help hold or increase the values of the 997 GT2. The issue with the low mileage car is you'd almost have to keep it low mileage to hold the value vs. driving it.
