Default is a 997.2 GT3 any good?

read a number of threads today that are making me wonder if my 997.2 GT3 is any good...

from what i've read on the forum...
it's not as pure as a 996 GT3
it's not as pretty or fast rev'ing as a 997.1 GT3
it's not as cool / special / as good of an investment as a RS
it's only slightly faster (maybe?) than a GT4 if both are driven by pro drivers on the same day with the same tires (and at the same speed?)

i guess all it's about good for is...
being my favorite of the cars i've owned / driven (but only because I haven't owned / driven the other cars mentioned)
driving on the backroads of NorCal to enjoy the scenery
putting a smile on my face 4.3sec faster than my RS4 (i think with the right mods, i may be able to get that up to 5.6sec faster)

hmm, that works for me. time to go drive my ugly, high mileage, money losing, slow 997.2 GT3!

Yeah...I'd be embarrassed to even drive that in public.

i'm guessing yours are all parked on the dying lawn in front of your house and just being used as plant holders. probably not a bad car for that option given that big shelf on the back.

i need to check how much the scrap metal guy will give me for it. may get back to you to see if you can beat his offer.

Make sure you never track the car, it worthless then. Don't take it near redline as these engines are known to blow with any over revs. Actually just don't drive it, only way it will retain any value.

Hey at least it's blue which is the best colour for a car. Oh hang on, it's not cobalt blue, so yes, probably no good

Great pics, looks like Skyline to La Handa. Some fun roads but near Saratoga the Law like to catch it
