hoping I can upgrade from my 997 4GTS Cabrio 6-spd without too much diff! $40k seems fair to me, but might be dreaming in this market, especially with an AWD Cabrio. Maybe get lucky with a buyer from Florida!

can someone help me do a VIN check:

good spec for no PCCB or leather… given what mine just sold for you should be able to shave another 8-10k off this guy and get close

Here's a price history on the VIN/last public sale.

P.S. I've seen alot of low mile 997 GTS's cab's sitting in the 80k or so range. I don't think you can get 100k+ for yours unless its some PTS unicorn.

really appreciate that! And the reality check on my 4GTS price. I had a local dealer offer $85k a few weeks ago so I figured maybe could get about 15% more in an auction. Not going to gamble like Dan though (sorry, too soon, lol!)

nothing too rare but its MSRP was $129k. Not that that means anything these days. Body color painted seat backs and carbon fiber door sills. *yawn* lol

I guess somebody mentioned this 2010 Meteor Grey GT3 w/ 25k miles. PCCB, full leather, carbon fiber interior. Says major service was just done. $165k Porsche Lehi was a bit sketch when I bought a 997 from them some years ago. failed to tell me about carbon fiber and other problems even when I was so clear in my questions. I flew there and then found out.

2010 GT3

Another 2010 black, PCCB, leather, 26k miles, $159,990

2010 GT3 Build sheet

The seller just posted pictures of the OEM sport seats from the previous owner. These aren’t the original seats or they were reupholstered at some point with leather inserts instead of Alcantara ones. This particular car would have come with sport seats with Alcantara inserts when new.

For a car that 'could' pull over $250k they prob should have cleaned the engine up and put some things back to stock.
