Battery replaced
Clutch release bearing replaced
Clutch replaced
Engine compression checked
Engine removed to complete repair
Flywheel/flexplate replaced
Engine/powertrain computer/module checked
Body computer/module checked
Muffler replaced
Wing/spoiler replaced/repaired
A/C refrigerant recharged
Spark plug(s) replaced
Starter overhauled/repaired

If buyer is a collector they should share the repair order so we can see what happened! If they are a dealer well now .... for reference the VIN is WP0AC2A90BS783459
looks it's back on sale

Guards Red 997.2 on eBay....

https://www.ebay.com/itm/252904992621

Any opinions on this one? Price seems a tad high for the amount of options in my opinion.

2011 RS white/red at Champion in FL. My GT3 sales guy (Brian Wagner) called to offer it to me but such a car is already out of my league. 1 owner, 70 yo guy apparently, 0 over-revs, traded it in on a turbo. 23k miles. He was adamant that it was absolutely flawless. Just a heads up if anyone is looking.

I'd have it but I don't want to move my family into the backseat...

Thanks for the lead. What does everyone think of the price? Has anyone seen this car before?

That dealership looks like a total scam. Look at the pricing on the rest of the Porsches they have for sale: http://www.lymanauto.com/inventory.aspx?mk=Porsche

All the pictures of the cars are from different parts of the country. Run away quick!

car is as clean as they get, absolutely original and no stories. The car is on consignment and therefore the VIN is not published should the owner elect to keep it.

Why do you need the VIN to be published? There is no reason to publish a VIN - that can most certainly be shared privately with a serious buyer along with other relevant information. Try to find a VIN on any car for sale in the EU ... you won't. Much stricter privacy laws and norms and its accepted that you don't need the VIN until you have proven that you are serious. Times are a changing ... and sellers dont want their VIN's out there nor do they need to have them out there to sell their cars.

I trust Doug and his description of their cars 110%. I've never heard anything negative about Switchcars and their prices are reasonable. However, if someone is going to drop 200K on a car, it would make sense to do some independent research--again, nothing against what is already listed on the ad. I would have any car I purchase (2K or 2 million) go through an inspection anyways.

If I don't get an allocation for .2GT3 this year, that particular RS is on my radar

My web guy was responsible for that. (He's from Maine, too!!)
Seems to be working.

We've happily shared the Carfax, ECU readout, and other information with buyers who inquire; and of course we always welcome independent PPIs.
