Aren't most 997.1 GT3's in the $110-115k range? The only big dollar options on these were PCCB's and tons of extra leather/carbon and deviated stitch.

No. You're thinking of .2's "maybe". Switchcars posted a good price variation based on miles several pages back, I'll see if I can find it.

I meant new MSRP.

997.1 GT3 right now should be probably $85-95k for a 20-30k mile example that is clean that Doug would be selling.
997.2 GT3 is probably $100-110k

Hi guys,
This was my car which I traded for a Cayenne Turbo. Let me know if you have any questions.
Traded it as I have a GT4 arriving in April/May and have never driven the GT3 here in the winter so rust should not be an issue.
I will add that it has had no incidents other than a single on track spin turn 8 WGI. I have R8s on Oz rims and a spare center lock tool as well if interested.

It is quite impressive in fact. Very thorough documentation on the track mods, changes (esp alignment choices over the years) & maintenance. I'm willing to bet the owner did indeed have a log book. But as I suspect with most porsche dealerships, my guess is that even if that owner gave them the log book, why would they want to pass that along to the next owner? odds? ... keep in mind that those service records did not come from the dealer either. Kinda doubt that the dealer knows that our Rennlister has them. Just seems to me that dealers selling track cars like this probably have at least "some" sweeping of it's history under the rug.

Correction: I have been corrected;... The Indy records did indeed come from the dealership. That is a huge step in the right direction in my {open} book. As XrussianX highlights below,... with all the right documentation, the car can be spot-on for the right buyer. ..... now about that price ..
I gave the dealer all the service records I could find as I would want that as a prospective buyer. That car served me well and I would love for it to go to a fellow RLer. The only real issue I had was a recurrent radiator leak which was eventually fixed once they diagnosed that the water pump was the culprit.
I drove it on the streets in the warmer months which are not that many up here and primarily tracked at WGI. I did not keep a log book.

Thanks for sharing. Always good to get the full story on these cars from the previous owner. Looks like a good car.

Yes absolutely Peer, this is fantastic that you have chimed in here on your ownership of this car. Mine is also a 2010 Aqua Blue GT3, ceramics w/ yellow stitch/belts & paint2match seatbacks/console/dash-bits. Very close to a sister of yours.

Having you make yourself available to the next buyer (by chiming in here on Rennlist) is HUUUGE in my book. Well done Sir.

The one thing we were not able to get from the dealership was the total operating hours on the engine (at the time the DME report was pulled). The point at which the range 1 over-revs occured has been shared,.... but the cars overall average speed has not yet been determined. One of the perspective buyers is waiting to get that data.

Thanks again for posting!

As Steve mentioned above, that is really nice of you to chime in w/ the additional details on your (old) car. Looks great btw, I love the blue. Also, fwiw, my '07 GT3 had an MSRP of $136,140 (before destination charge). Seems to be a relatively high-option car.
