Ohlins work beautiful on the street and track. I just sold a set to a Rennlister's just last week, hopefully he'll chime in. I haven't decided yet, but I'm either going with KW's or Ohlins on my 996tt very soon.

We have Outfitted most of our customer cars as well as race cars with KW shocks and had great success with that. We carry the entire KW line

With the options out there for a GT3, I could never imagine putting KW on my car...

Yes, interested to see why, seems to fly in the face of many including names like Manley etc and my own experience?
I have had mine for over 2 years and have had no problems and am only very impressed. Note photo two is very resent so you can see how they look after two years and 40000 km of track and road use.

Eric (forgot his user name) once upon a time was using KW V3's if I'm not mistaken and said he saw no gains in his lap times at Sebring. I'm not trying to bash KW, a big name like Manthey Racing is using their shocks with custom spring rates.

What other race teams are using them? Doesn't seem to be that many...
Also, from experience with other applications, I've never heard that the dampening is very good (i.e.: made for street and show cars).
Also, at the cost, it just makes more sense to go with the trusted and proven MCS/Ohlins/Moton/JRZ options...

kW competition are good dampers.
In end your chassis guy is the one to trust with the setup. Much of the art in this is the setup. You know how a bad carpenter blames his tools? Well I think ohlins suck cause I'm slow. Lol

In the end the dampers are just a piece of the puzzle. Most companies put out a good product. KW, Bilstein, JRZ etc. what it comes down to is what you do with it setup wise!

In Europe KW are use extensively in racing and are competitive with competition- I understand in the US not so much.
Like all brands they do budget through to good stuff. Comes down to set up, like above don't blame your tools for your skill or rehash web/forum rubbish, I am sure there's plenty that rubbish JRZ and Ohlin's if you look but I understand brand loyalty and following the heard.

Looks like KW does at least a respectable amount of work.
