Yes, but the adaptive function won't work. You'll have to code the car for them as well, but that's a simple procedure.
I'm going to have to check on that, it's been a while.
Meanwhile, here is the last thing I did. And by that I really mean LAST. I'm done now, the car is just the way it's supposed to drive and look... (I know, famous last words)
Before...
After...
Got them from Eric at Bumper Plugs. Excellent product and a great guy to deal with. And yes, the price is well worth it. The OEM chrome pieces are indeed chrome plated and the process of getting them painted is not easy.

I've been away for a few weeks. I was able to drive some amazing PDK machinery and other fine cars on some really spectacular roads and a certain 13 mile long race track...
I finally got to drive the red sled last weekend for the first time in about a month. What a joy this thing is. From the moment you step on the clutch. It is an experience.
Got her a little dirty from the drive with a few friends on some wet roads. Here she is, about to be hosed off...

Haven't updated this thread in a while. Been too busy driving! Not much done to the car since the Spring other than an oil change.
Couple of things I discovered: 1) The Recaro Vivo booster fits perfectly in the sport buckets and doesn't touch the bottom of the seat cushion to trigger the passenger airbag and it remains disabled. So my son gets to enjoy the car as well.
2) Guards Red is an awesome color to photograph in the Fall:

that's a nice pic! made me realize this might be the first year in about, hmm, maybe 10yrs that i won't have at least one trip to NY during the fall.
guess i could come up with some reason to head out to Saratoga Springs / Malta, but already have Korea (twice), Taiwan and Netherlands on the schedule between now and mid Dec.

Your Son looks a lot like you and I am sure he is happy to have a Dad that lets him ride around in his Toys.
Thanks for all the updates.
Merry Christmas.

Thank you Carm, happy holidays to you as well!
Maybe we'll see each other again in 2016 - Parade is happening not too far from you - Jay Peak VT at the end of June. It will be a lot of fun for sure!

Ilko, how does the Recaro booster not trigger the Airbags? Not sure how that's possible. My son will be ready for a booster in a year or two and i need to do this as well.

Hey Eugen, check out this crude diagram I made:
The angle of the folding GT3 bucket seat is smaller than the Recaro Vivo booster. The booster lies flat against the back rest of the GT3 seat, but only the front of the Vivo touches the seat bottom of the GT3 seat. The airbag weight sensor is at the back of the GT3 seat bottom and the booster doesn't touch it. So the airbag remains disabled.
