Happy for you ilko!
I've loved reading about all your cars since the 964 RSA... A GT3 is the one I'd love to have after the 964.

Beware of RED shopping carts
Ilko,
That picture in front of Trader Joe's sent was a painful reminder of a "mean and nasty Target shopping cart" that attacked my freshly restored 1970 911E a few years back.
When I saw that cart so close to the GT3 it was a grim reminder of my parking lot incident.
I parked far away but out in the open enough that the wind caught the cart and sent it rolling into the driver side door of the 911E.
Here is the photographic proof.
Beware in the parking lot !

By the way, the new GT3 looks great, especially with the Dodge dealer provenance.

Since you guys are so anti-Trader Joe's, here's a Home Depot picture!
On a more serious note, briefly after I got the car I managed to pick up a TPC DSC box. While it's not a night and day difference as it was in the 997 Turbo, it noticeably improves the handling of the car. The GT3 absorbs road imperfections much better while also makes the car feel more planted. And that holds true for all settings. Well worth the money.
Finally, here are a couple of pictures of the last drive of 2014, taken earlier today. Several of the roads we frequent are closed for the season, but we still had a great time and decided to "stage" this photo op. The road is technically passable and we were actually pondering whether to drive it anyway. Until a police car showed up from the closed section... So we decided to go do a shorter loop and brunch instead. Still managed to clock 130 miles this morning, mostly on back roads.
More (interior) updates soon, Happy New Year everyone!

That car is gorgeous! I picked up my GR .2 in the summer. Haven't found too many worthy roads in my area, but if I lived in NYC again, I would definitely frequent the palisades and beat the GT3 as hard as possible. What a car - pure sex on wheels!
