The RSC-2 are designed for brembo ccm...don't know if they are available in the shape needed for a vette though.
I have been using the RSC-3 on Surface Transforms discs. They feel really nice but the discs aren't going to last long enough to justify the price.

It's the design of the switchblade key.
I think they are just replacing the key itself not the column or mechanism. All this reevaluation of the cobalt bumping the key with knee etc made them look at the key lock and possibility of car shutting off. So I believe dealer is just replacing the key with a more regular key.
Just don't put anything hanging on your fob and you're good I think.

Looks like a couple days at the track means I am late to this party!

SCCA PDX/CT at my home track in two weeks. That'll be the acid test. I can ring it out, compare to years of previous experiences and have the information to form a much better overall opinion. However- so far, so good, and I feel I received a bargain at $75k.
Funny side note - my (awesome) Porsche tech at Reno Porsche is doing the track prep on it for me at the dealer service dept. He loves it because he is a Chevy nut and is finishing up his own personal track prepped "Super Street" Chevelle! So I still have first-class facilities, a loaner if I need it and meticulous workmanship. Only the parts are 80% less than P-car parts...lol. Wild stuff and all good.

Savy- I love your enthusiasm and the new car seems awesome, thanks for the write up. I still have your Akra exhaust, but sadly the car and the exhaust are now for sale.
