The 3.8 is all set and ready to go back in.

Pinned coolant lines, LSD rebuilt, new clutch/LWFW, new water pump/thermostat, Sharkwerks coolant elbows, injectors/intake ports cleaned, new BMC filter/serp. belt/spark plugs.

Waiting on M&M RSR full exhaust coming from overseas now, and it will be ready to rock

I note your belt run is possibly incorrect (below the alternator and AC where it passes betwin the idler and tensioner) - it is possible to route the belt two ways but only one is correct to a 997 yours is the 996 way in the photo above.

Will post the correct way in a minute...

You can suffer slip or possibly throw a belt.

Image is from 997.1 manual but should be the same for your motor...Please check

You rock, thank you sir!

There was limited routing info on Mitchell software and that appeared to be one of the ways we were finding, went on alright, but prefer to use the correct method.

As always, appreciate the info.

That was a great catch for sure!

Redmonkey, did you do anything about the actuator bolts? You are aware of the potential problems I presume.

Yes, that is the only item still being debated. Either buying one of Jamie's dampers or pulling the bolts and re-torquing with proper loctite are the options.

Anyone have thoughts there?
