Oh, they're for the track. But now that they're on, I don't see myself putting the stock wheels back on . . . ever. I was originally hunting E88s, but a fellow RLer had these on his 7.2 and it didn't take much convincing for me to realize these were the better fit for my car. Can't tell in those pics, but mine's Basalt, and in the right light, that gold draws out the gold and brown hues in the paint. Perfection all around.

E07's > E88's.
I wish they made the E07's in a 5 lug.

Agreed. I like the open spokes more. I'm just not quite sold on having a 3 piece track wheel. I understand the whole Motorsports 3 piece rebuildable aspect of it, but it's just maintenance item and how do you know when you need to replace the seal? Oh when your wheel leaks air, really something that I'm not interested in finding out on a track day (I don't trailer). A single block of aluminum is lighter, arguably stronger and virtually maintenance free. Also, somebody please show my a modern race car with a multipiece wheel. But something about the E07/E88 is timeless and looks awesome.
Also, adding to the Mezger themed plates. Meh.

I trailer to the track, so not concerned on that front, but I agree a monoblock wheel is probably a better true motorsports choice these days. But I'm not tryin' to win the DE either . . .

you're winning the DE championship by default when you show up with GT3 on E07s, you don't even need to step foot on track, just detail the car at track, bring lots of micro fibers

Hahahahah. I reserve my wildly OCD rituals for the confines of the garage. I have to look like I'm totally unconcerned with such things at the track. Scoffing at the newbs using rubber remover between sessions . . .
