I took me a while to get used to it but now I love the looks and wouldn't want to have it any different. However, if you are precious about having them in clean shape constantly then it's clearly not a great choice. I gave up trying to have them white and shiny all the time

so then your nice picture with the rims all clean like that is an anomaly? ... looks so good there,... but if it never really looks like that ....

... sorry,... but I couldn't resist. I have PCCB's on my .2 .... so I can't feel your pain

sorry, didn't intend to scare you off. what you see in the pic is the usual status in-between rounds on the Ring - they normally don't look worse than that and keeping that level of cleanliness is not a problem (I am usually cleaning after a weekend of driving).

However, if you are someone that needs the wheels to always shine and you have issues with visible break dust or pick-up, then you're either going to be cleaning a lot or regret having painted them. I am not in this camp and I love the car being white/white.

Edit: If helpful, I can send you a few detail pics in a few weeks from now when I am back with the car...

I think PCCB will help?

Great looking headers. I wouldn't mind a set.

I'd think so yes. I assume with PCCBs you are also not on track regularly and so you will be fine anyways.

Beautiful. White rims would match not just exterior but also interior

I ditched my E88s, didn’t want the complexity of a 3 piece wheel when tracking them.

also I had 18s and they were SOOOO close to my PCCBs that you could barely fit a piece of paper. I had the smallest rock chip get stuck in there and the sound of it scraping the rotor was just horrifying.

Switched to the BBS lightweight Motorsport wheel in 19 and not looking back!!!
