Have run the Trofeo R's and they are awesome tires. Ridiculous grip for a street able R. Fast wear though and still spend but less than the MPSC's. Just recently switched to 18's and NT-01's. I ran them for years before the GT3 and loved them. Assuming I will on this car too.

Was wondering, do 18" O.Z. Alleggerita's fit over 997.1 PCCB's?

No, they do not. I recommend you get a set of CCW C10's or C14's. They clear PCCB's and are forged, about $3000/set.

I'm getting ready to put on 18's for the track. Does anyone run Nitto 315's on with 18X12 in the rear?
You need to be running the 305-35-18...along with the 245-40-18 (front).

finspeed is a really good option for you too. Talk to Daniel. He can make you a set that will clear those. Actually he could make them to have extra clearance so your calipers dont get trashed as the usually do when 18's fit really close.

when jumping to 18x9 and 18x12 track wheels on a 5-lug converted 997.2 GT3, what are the recommended offsets to not require any spacers? the oem 19x8.5 is 53mm, and the oem 19x12 is 63mm.

i think discount is slightly cheaper, plus Walmart has tax in pretty much all states. Also they dont offer 305's

BBS -- best track wheels for a 997.2 GT3 with factory centerlocks. New $6000.
I have 3 good/straight/true used 18" sets for sale at $3000/set + shipping from Fort Myers, FL.
Also have one set 19" OEM with slight dings - also good for second set of wheels for track days for those choosing to stick with 19's $3000 + shipping.

Will the 245-40-18 rub in the wheel wells of my narrow-body GT3?

No. They only slightly touch the inner plastic wheel well liner at full lock. You are good to go. Time to give up your 235's.....plus, if you attempt to run 235's, they will give TC errors when you run new rear tires with worn fronts.

Picked up the same 245/305 combo on some new 18" CCW C104s in gloss black can't wait for them to complete and ship up here!

Walmart- not sure how they would treat nice rims- maybe you pre-tip the tech for a clean job?

911GT3... Plenty of guys with your car are running and have been running 245/40/18 fronts for years with no problems. Nitto NT01 are awesome tires!

Thanks MVEZ and MDRUMS. Ordering tonight! BBS wheels from GT3DE and Nittos from TireDiscount--two sets each thank you. Now to sell at least one set of my OZ19s Superforgiattas--great wheel.

Also, MDRUMS, gonna call you in the next month or two to pick your brain re Aquarian drumheads. Using Evans right now and want to get the Aquarian equivalent to try.
