Nah, Nitto had them with the 305 and a lot of 275s had them (from the BMW guys) but those seemed to be late 2012 and early 2013 manufacturer dates.

I'm running the 315s on a .2 NB car right now without problems. Same alignment as with 305.

TC has to be turned off though. No problems with ABS.

Does anyone know if the Sport Cup 2 is going to come out on 18s?

Default Nitto 305/35/18

On 6/27/14, I inquired about an estimated date of availability:

"Thank you for contacting Nitto Tire with your inquiry.

We apologize but at this time there is no ETA on when this tire size will be available.

Thank you,

Ugh. Weak.

outside the circumference issue the rake is almost 1" different front to rear... I threw in the 235 front to see if it mattered much

Math variations to ideal 245/305 to the other sizes that are available:
245/305 25.55 / 26.42 = 1.034 - Rake: .87” rear
235/315 25.39 / 25.35 = 0.998 - Rake: .04” front
245 / 315 25.55 / 25.35 = 0.992 - Rake: .2” front

I drove with a set on the rear last w/e. Less grip than nittos. I had to soften the rear bar to make the car feel normal. Also make the sc/tc go crazy with nittos on front.

Actually sold a set of 19" Superforgiattas and bought two sets of 18" BBS just to run the Nittos. Got one friggin set, then nothing for 6 months. They are killing me.

The RA1s get a bit more greasy as the session goes on but never caused the nannies to go crazy for me.

Yep 335 and 245. Sc/tc came on constantly at anything over parade lap speed.
The first lap I drove them the car felt so different from the day before when I had nittos all around that I couldnt believe it. It had crazy front grip...the balance totally changed.

I agree. They just seem to have less grip to start with than the nittos. They are 7 yrs old so no big surprise I guess.

My newbieish experience is ra1 like a little more slip and not as planted as nt01. But they are pretty good but I like feel of nt01 better. But yes. They are old.
