Default 2007 PORSCHE sold: GT3 to TENNESSEE

At 14:00 hrs PST 05/04/2013 a piece of me left for Franklin, Tennessee.

She was the perfect girl:
*She was beautiful (Stunning to look at with all the right curves, perky headlights and a voluptuous ***)
*I would touch/shift her and she would respond back
*She was faithful and true
*She was never abused
*We spent a lot of time together and she was she ride of my life

My build thread here:
https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...formation.html

Would like to thank everyone here on RENNLIST for being a part of the build and especially these people:

CARRERAGT
MIKYMU
MOOTY

Ron @ IPB AUTOSPORT
Darwin @ SONIC MOTORSPORTS
Bruce and Rob @ BRRACING
Raul @ FLAT6
Tony @TCDESIGN

Auf Wiedersehen and take good care of her ONEFSTM!!!!!!!

HOW THE SALE CAME TO BE:

On April 14, 2013...... I saw a RENNLIST thread that was open for about a month "Looking for a GT3"

I had no intentions on selling my GT3, but I replied on that thread saying "I might be selling my GT3". Next morning I had 5 other PMs in my inbox. First interested party was wishy washy and didnt know what he wanted (either a GT3 or TURBO). Gave him a suggestion that the GT3 was probably not the right fit car for him.

Went on to the next interested party in PM (about a week later) and gave him my contact #. About 3 hours later I received a call from ONEFSTM. We talked about the vehicle and he said he would of done about the same mods on a GT3 if he had one. We talked about price and criteria that I would need my CARRERA GT seats, but would replace with a FRP bucket seat of his choice (RECARO/SPARCO). I didnt really take ONEFSTM seriously until he said "Where do I wire a deposit?" My jaw dropped in awe since he hasn't seen/driven the car. Car has never seen track time (and I know you NORCAL GT3 RENNLISTERS have never seen my car on the track). I proceeded dont worry about the deposit and that the car was sold to him. Next day funds wired to account and all that was needed exchange of seats and transport of vehicle.

I had one week to get sliders and seat installed in vehicle for new owner before transport. ONEFSTM decided to go with SPARCO seats and universal brackets/mounts from SPEEDWARE , but use the OEM RECARO CARRERA GT/GT3 clubsport seat rails. I received all parts, removed my OEM RECAROS and found a problem..... Universal brackets would not fit over OEM CARRERA GT RECARO sliders.

Mechanic from my work at the fire department jigged out and shaved a rectangular piece out of bottom of bracket so that it would fit over sliders. PERFECT!!!!!

Opened SPARCO box, but seat came without middle padding and cover (WTF!!!!!!!)
No problem..... ONEFSTM and I decided to just install seat and when car arrives in TENNESSEE, exchnage this seat with another complete SPARCO seat.

I have bought and sold many cars in my day. However, I have never come across an opposite party that has been as great as John. We have now exchanged over 500 txt messages and probably a similar number or emails. He is amazingly thorough and absolutely wants me to receive the car is perfect condition.

Arrival pictures coming soon!!

Thanks again John!

Sad at this moment to the empty space in the garage..... but happy at the same time that the car will be taken care of by you and your 7 year old boy. Glad it is going to a home where the prior mods are respected and will be tracked.

Video if possible the reaction of your 7 year old sons face when his GT3 arrives at the door.

Keep us updated.

That was the original cardboard dealer plate where Burlingame was spray painted off. Still had it, so I put it back.
