Just doing valve guides, a little deshrouding of the valves and a good valve job. New valve springs and retainers as well.

Waiting for parts to come in, tested some ideas for cams that will work out! Also working on a CF plenum to open up the intake side and keep the plenum flaps. Getting quotes on the headers and exhaust as well... Things are moving, just not a lot of pictures lately!

Jamie it all comes together but there's always anxiety but trust the individuals you've chosen. Just keep the build pics coming. All others and myself love to see it come together.
I'll say again, not sure that a CF intake plenum is a good "bang 4 the buck".
All the best with the build.

Hey Ranger,

Thanks, the intake plenum should come out a little less than the factory 4.0 parts and the difference between the 3.6 and 4.0L plenums are definitely worth taking a look at...

Jamie,

Is the CF inlet modelled on the factory 4.0?

Hey Jay, sorry missed this.

Yes, the CF plenums are modeled after the 4.0 including the center section all in CF!

Good call, no point reinventing the wheel.

Good luck.

Great! Enjoy the process and take your time. Doing these builds is more fun than the end-result!

Question for you Serge, did you use the 4.0L fuel injectors? I know the factory bore is 102.7 and ours are 105. The wider spray pattern should help with hot spots, but did you do it with yours?
