Really looking forward to your impressions of the extra power and the drivability of the new engine once break-in is complete. Sure sounds the business, and downright angry! In a good way of course!

Excellent build!
I've been following it from the beginning.

Congrats!

I know it is customary to say positive things, but it sounds to me like she's misfiring and running rough. I've also noticed the CEL is on. I'm sure there's a lot of fine tuning still left to do...which is absolutely normal for such an impressive project!
Or maybe I'm mistaking about the misfire...I don't know...

Either way, you're not far now to enjoy the best of the best!

Good luck and thank you for taking us along!

It's a combo of Dundon headers and an M&M muffler. Will be making our own muffler and another set of headers to test.

Good ear, needs a bit more gas at idle and up to 3500rpm. Have a new Motorsports FPR coming and the new base tune will be done early next week...

Everyone else, thanks for the support!!

Kinda funny how things ended up... You should know that M5, it was in your garage first!

seems the E39 M5 is a gateway drug to a GT3, I've now known at least 6-7 GT3 owners that had M5's...

Quick update, Bosch Motorsports 5bar FPR will be here Tuesday/Wednesday and the tuning cable is here already. Should have things tuned up a bit better by the end of next week...

Do you have any Pix of FPR and part nr
I've tried with 5 bars but it gave a rise of pressure from 3 bar to 5 bar but it does not give so much more fuel after that injecktor will be sluggish for the higher pressure. results more hp on between lo to mid registry but it does not get enough fuel on top.

Regards

Robin
