Where? I check out listings pretty regularly and have not seen such a car/price. Did the seller come down far from listing?

Come on, you can't post that juicy bit and not float some more details! That's an amazing price given what is out there now... where, how'd you find, etc!

If you bought your GT3 expecting that it won't eventually drop in price, you better have bought a 4.0. However, there will always be a good following from the people who continue to enjoy an engaging manual Pcar. And many existing owners will keep them for a long time now.

I bought it sight unseen from Porsche of San Diego, Asking price was $99,975 and by the time I called, 3 hours after the posting went online, they already had 7 inquireis but I was first with the deposit, paid the asking price. Frankly I have no idea why it was priced so low.

Clean carfax, clean DME, well equipped and CPO. The only thing missing is the Sharkwerks bypass, which has been ordered.

This is my second GT3, I had a 997.1 in the same color. I love atlas gray.

I'm happy to oblige if someone can explain how to upload a photo off my computer. The insert image button asks for a URL.

I'm virtually positive that's not Atlas Gray, it's Meteor Gray...just like mine (Atlas i smuch darker). Gorgeous! Enjoy in good health.

Hi twk,

Congratulations !..this is a keeper..

By th way, yes 99k was maybe a bit lower..but maybe the owner wanted to sell the car in one week..in the end this happened as you say in 3 hours basically..seven inquiries in 3 hours..there is certainly a solid demand for these cars.

all the best with it..

Did a quick search on Porsche.com pre-owned finder. Currently two '10-'11 GT3 RS's vs 408 '10-'13 Panamera's. Completely unrelated comp but it does put the GT3 RS supply picture in perspective.

Can you elaborate on this, particularly the expensive problems portion?

Default SO HAPPY MY MANUAL RS IS COMING BACK

You will enjoy this.

Was planning to sell my RS with only 3,400miles to capture max value now, to get a 2014 991 RS.

The car was picked up on a truck and taken by my local Porsche dealer. He already had buyers interested without even seeing the car.

As soon as I found out that the 991RS will only have PDK auto (it's ok but nothing special compared to other current F1 transmissions - I tested it on a 991 PDK at the Porsche Day at Monticello race track) I immediately told him to not sell my manual RS. I asked him to refresh fluids and send it back to me.They are a great dealer, we are friends and always buy cars from them they were happy either way.

These 997.1/2 RS cars will be the last of the manuals RS!!

I have F1 transmission cars. They are fine. But so detached. Nothing beats the feeling of connection and control than a manual 997 RS gives you. Sorry Ferrari (and I have an F car that I love, with F1).

Here is a picture of her. So happy she is coming back!!!!

hi masinari,

Congrats on such a beautiful RS..

You took the right decisions...one should also keep in mind - a new - or second hand 2014 RS can always be bought..once your RS is gone..you will have difficulties getting a similar one back..at an acceptable price level.

If you have already Ferraris..another argument for not selling this RS. This will be your Sunday morning - fun (manual) car..
