I would need to have dates to confirm as I travel often for work. But assuming it worked out on the schedule, yes I would tow down from Dallas for 2 days of open track time at COTA.

I live in Houston, signed up for COTA with MVP and would drive the track again for this event depending on dates of course. For out of towers it could be coordinated with a before event with Drivers Edge at Cresson or TWS.

great things about COTA:

there is a gas station right next door (not sure about gas on site)

it's in AUSTIN- one of the best cities in the country- definitely the best city in Texas.

however based on my initial snooping this will be a very expensive day/ weekend/etc based on track costs alone...

Actually the Driver's Edge March event is in Dallas, the Late January event is in Houston. IF DM is typically mid week, this could be a great opportunity for people traveling to experience two TX facilities. THe 3.1 mile track at MSR Dallas (Cresson) is a blast.

Yes, that would be wonderful. I can tell you that the FL boys that I run with will definitely want to hit some other tracks while we are all the way in TX.
